Les Arcs is part of the huge Paradiski area and is Europe´s 4th largest ski area, an unforgettable experience for all mountain lovers. A ski area suited to all levels from a 16km red run from the dizzy heights of the Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs 2000 to fun in the tress in Plan Peisey, the Les Arcs area alone offers a fabulous variety of terrain to enjoy with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc. Combined via the Vanoise Express Cable Car with La Plagne’s exciting area, the choices are immense. 70% of the Les Arcs ski area is above 2000m, there are 2 glaciers accessible at over 3200m and there is an extensive network of snowmaking machines to ensure snowsure conditions all season. Made up of the villages of Les Arcs 2000, 1950, 1800, 1650, Vallandry, Plan Peisey and Peisey-Nancroix, our luxury ski chalet is set in the heart of the Les Arcs area in one of these traditional Savoyard villages. Peisey is a charming French resort with a warren of lanes and a marvellous Baroque church.

More than 400 kilometres of linked runs, spanning three big resort areas. Scattered high among the mountains of the Haute-Savoie are the purpose-built towns of Les Arcs, La Plagne and Les Coches, while lower down the slopes there are smaller, traditional villages. The main draw here is the sheer variety and extent of the skiing on offer. There are hundreds of miles of trails and downhill pistes to explore, and terrains to suit all abilities. In addition, at a time when lots of low-altitude resorts are worrying about losing their ski industry through lack of snow, those in Paradiski tend to be at 1,500 metres or above, so they can claim with some justification to be "snow-sure"». |
Ski in Paradise...
The skiing in Paradiski really is like skiing in Paradise! The villages of Vallandry and Plan Peisey are situated right next to the new double decker cable car that links up with La Plagne making it an excellent resort from which to explore two huge ski areas in one week. The skiing in Peisey-Vallandry itself is reminiscent of American resorts. The runs cut through the forest, giving shelter from bad weather. Peisey-Vallandry is great for beginner and intermediate skiers, whilst venturing further afield towards Les Arcs offers more challenging skiing including awesome off-piste.
