Snowcrazy Guest Comments ... What our guests say about us ...

All comments you see here come un-prompted by email from guests who have returned home after having spent a wonderful time on holiday with us in one of our chalets. We don´t ask guests to write in, they just do, a testament to how good we really are!

Winter 2012-2013...(keep scrolling down for 8 seasons of comments)!

Our week was amazing- gorgeous food, comfy chalets and nothing seemed to be to much trouble for any of your staff. I had the most relaxing week I can think of for years and years. Many thanks again for all your help with making this a superb holiday. Regards
Claire Cave, Chalet Chocard, April 13

Hi Laura, Just to say we all had a fabulous holiday at Chalet Casper. Everything was perfect, what a treat for us all. Kind regards
Fi Prior-Palmer et al x, Chalet Caspar, April 13

Dear Laura. Thank you to all for another great week in Meribel. Great chalet, snow and of course food. Please pass on our thanks to James, Justin and Rob who all did a fantastic job. All being well will be looking forward to another trip next season. Thanks again. Kind regards.
Sue & David Burr, Chalet mont dOr, March 2013

Laura, Just wanted to feed back how much Val and I enjoyed our week with you in les Allues. The chalet was excellent; very comfortable with Rob looking after the house arrangements, James serving up some quite superb food and Justin always happy to drop us off and making (on time) pick ups. They made a terrific team. Transfers worked well and we very much appreciated your ski equipment service. Please accept our thanks for a very good first experience with Snowcrazy and pass on our gratitude to the boys for their part in making it a really enjoyable holiday.
Val and Roger Little, Chalet Mont dOr, March 2013

Hi Laura. Just a quick email to say that we really enjoyed our week at Chalet Chocard (9-16th March). The chalet was lovely - the chalet staff were great (very friendly and helpful and they genuinely seemed to want us to have a great holiday), the standard of food and wine (for adults) was amazing and the nanny service excellent. I can only say that we´d happily book with Snowcrazy again and would recommend to our friends. I hope you have a great end of season. Kind regards.
Mel Meaden, Chalet Chocard, March 2013

Hi Laura. Thank you and all the Chalet Marigold team for another great holiday in Ste Foy. You really have the gift for finding excellent staff; always friendly and considerate, very professional and unflappable. Rhiannon coped fantastically well with my odd dietary requirements, every meal was a feast (how wonderful to have a Dietitian as chef!). We did missed the Ski Hosting service but I understand that the case has gone to appeal so we have our fingers crossed for next season ... Please send our thanks and best wishes to Rhiannon & Dan, Rob and Ben. I hope that they enjoy the rest of the season and wish them all every success in the future - perhaps we´ll see them again next season? With thanks and best wishes,
Suzy Kilgour, Chalet Marigold, March 2013

Hi Laura, Just wanted to thank SnowCrazy for a great week. The chalet was excellent, very comfortable, well equipped and still cosy. The food was top class and James produced true quality at every meal with good ingredients, beautiful presentation and a bit of imagination. Justin and Rob also worked hard to make our stay as enjoyable as they could, without intruding - nothing was too much trouble. This was the first time we have stayed in a chalet that was not ski in/out but the minibus arrangements worked really well. Your hire equipment was high quality and very keenly priced! We look forward to skiing with you next year, we just need to decide where and when. Best regards
Ron & Angela Atkinson, Chalet Mont dOr, March 2013

Hi Laura, just returned home from our 2nd chalet experience with Snowcrazy a few hours ago and had to post you our thoughts (very jealous we had to return home!)………Chalet Marigold is a fabulous experience……perfect location and our gratitude goes to Rhiannon, Ben, Dan & Rob for a wonderful week………the 4 of them made it a holiday to remember. Hope we will do it again next year. Marigold suited our every need and the location is second to none……..Sainte Foy is perfect for families and will be hard to beat in the future. Once again thanks for a wonderful experience & pass on our gratitude to the team in Marigold. Regards
Peter, Mary, Shane, Maria & Rachel (at 7 years she mastered the reds in Sainte Foy!), Chalet Marigold, March 13

Hi Laura, Just had to let you know what a fantastic week we had last week in Chalet Marigold, Ste. Foy. Our hosts, Dan and Rhiannon as well as Rob and the newly ‘on boarded’ Ben were amazing all week, accommodating everyone’s needs and ski equipment requirements. Our party night was a huge success with Ben being greeted in the lift by Penelope Pitstop and Clint Eastwood as Pale Rider!! I bet he wondered what he’d actually taken on as a job! The weather held out for us most of the week and those that went on the day trips had a great time in Val D’Isere and La Rosiere. The chalet was of a very high standard and the bedrooms were such a good size – just like they look on the website tour. You provided the best quality bath towels and robes we’ve ever had a in a chalet too! The sauna was put to good use as was the hot tub – very welcome at the end of the day. We were recommended by Dan to use SnowCool Ski School for Adam and have to say that Patrick there was just brilliant. Adam is only 5yrs old and was coming down red runs after only 3 days! He’s come away with his Crystal standard badge and has a ski passport as well! All in all a brilliant week and we plan to book again for 2014 – if the little gem is not booked already.
Alison Giles, Chalet Marigold, March 13

Hi Laura, Belatedly to thank you for a delightful chalet holiday in Meribel. It really was a very nice chalet - indeed I have stayed in many chalets and I and Lyn think this was probably the best. The catering was truly excellent - James is a very talented chef - he and Justin and Robert were so pleasant and helpful. Meribel of course and Les Trois Vallee has brilliant skiing. Finally Rowan and Caroline were very happy with how Sarah looked after Beatrice -she is a fun person. We will certainly consider Snow Crazy for next year and at the moment the Eagle´s Nest in Les Arcs is favourite. Best wishes,
David and Lyn Irving, Chalet Mont dOr, March 2013

I recently stayed at Eagles Nest Chalet from 23rd Feb to 2nd March. We all had an excellent time and can´t sing the praises of Lorraine, Paul, Faith and Porsche enough. The whole organisation by Snow Crazy was fantastic.
Shane Muir, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, February 13

Laura, I would just like to say what an amazing time we all had at Chalet Marigold last week all the guys were absolutely great with us and the kids, the food was fantastic every night was a culinary treat from a great cook! The service that we got from the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left was 5 star! This is the first time we have been back to Chalet Marigold since Snow Crazy took over the running and all I can think of is returning next season!! Thanks to all the team you made our family ski holiday the best one yet and we can’t wait to return!! Kind Regards,
Adam Foord, Chalet Marigold, February 2013

Hi Laura. Just thought I would drop you a line after experiencing a Snowcrazy holiday. It gives me great pleasure to tell you that we all had a fantastic week. Firstly, we all agreed it was a great chalet, clean, roomy and offering everything you would need after a hard days skiing. Secondly, I would like to praise the efforts of Lorraine, Tony and Faith. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the catering was of a high standard. Compared to the year before it felt like 5 star all the way! Regards.
Nick Sharp, Chalet Eagles Nest, February 2013

We all had a fantastic time and would like to thank you and all your staff for looking after us. The chalet was perfect and we were somewhat spoilt having it to ourselves. Kirsty and Chris were brilliant hosts despite their last minute arrival. Also please thank Emily and Colin who made us welcome the first evening.
Phil McRobbie, Chalet Caspar, February 2013

Dear Laura, We hired the chalet last week and feel I should write to you as we have been going on Ski holidays with the family to lots of different resorts and through many different companies over the past 12 years and we have had some shocking experiences in that time! Yours however was the most professional and enjoyable experience we have ever had. The chalet staff were always happy and made sure there was nothing we needed each day, Hayley who was there the most was chatty, happy and made sure everything was always clean and tidy even with us having 5 children under the age of 11. Neil’s cooking was out of this world, the food was always on time and cooked to perfection, even if the hob broke one night (due to the gas), he managed to get create something else instead which was pure brilliance at the last moment! The cakes each afternoon were more than we needed but we still had to indulge anyway!! Graham took us out ski hosting on one of the days to Italy and his knowledge of the mountain was excellent especially where to eat, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and tiring day, the shuttle up to the slopes each day meant we didn’t even really realise it wasn’t ski in and out. One of the best things that we have never come across before was the ski hire being delivered to the chalet before we got there, we had serious delays on the way down and didn’t arrive until 21.30 with me thinking we were going to have a nightmare in the morning organising all the children’s skis and boots but as they were already there it was a great relief. Where ever your eye for detail came from it was truly a fantastic experience and one which I look forward to doing again next year. Thank you again for such a wonderful holiday and please keep doing exactly as you have been. Kind regards.
James Emson, Chalet Chocard, February 2013

Hi Laura, I wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know we had a great week with you last week. Neil, Hayley and Graham were fantastic and couldn’t have been more helpful. I am sure we will use you again in the future as we all had a fantastic holiday! Cheers
Toby Ballard, Chalet Chocard, February 2013

Hi Laura, Just a short note to say how nice it was seeing you and Mike again. As usual, Sue and I absolutely loved being back in the Marigold. Also, we were delighted to be with such a wonderful group.I am beginning to think I should just re-send my note from last year…the food was delicious and we were all looked after superbly! The Marigold/Ste Foy has so many advantages that you just don’t find elsewhere. The fact that there are so many beautiful intermediate runs in the resort itself right on the chalet doorstep. Wonderful lunches at La Brevette and Chez Leon, no lift queues, make the local skiing such a pleasure. We took advantage of all the side trips to Val d’Isere-Tignes, Les Arcs and La Rosiere-La Thuile which together offer a range of skiing at every level. Again, I don’t know anywhere else where you could find more variety. Please thank the team for us. Sue and I wish you all the best and continued success. Sincerely,
Sue and Tony Lytle, Chalet Marigold, February 2013

Hi Laura, I have been meaning to thank you and Mike for our wonderful holiday at La Bergerie. I can honestly say I have never had such good chalet, food, ditto, the wine (and different bottles every night!). Rob and B could not have been more helpful and obviously care about what they do. In fact, that applied to all the staff we came across. You run an excellent operation, with a very customer friendly attitude and we have been dishing out SnowCrazy recommendations constantly since our return. Hopefully we will have another holiday with you in future years. Best wishes
Phil and Mollie Courtney, Chalet Bergerie, January 2013

Hi Laura. Just wanted to say thanks for a great holiday with Snowcrazy at Chalet Mont D´or last week. From start to finish it was a great experience. Thanks so much for organising everything, it all went very smoothly. The chalet was lovely, food was delicious and we were well looked after by the staff, particularly Justin who was a star. I´ve put a long review on trip advisor. We look forward to another Snowcrazy holiday in the future. Best Wishes
Sarah Holmes, Chalet Mont d´Or, January 2013

Laura. Many thanks for providing us with a very nice holiday. The chalet was fabulous, very comfortable and spacious. I have skied in Les Arcs many times but always stayed in Arc 1800 in an apartment. The food and service provided was beyond my expectations and I am sure that we will return there. I have been skiing for a long time now and have never had such a good service in terms of quality of accommodation, food and service from the staff and I am sure that Duncan and I will return again soon. Les Arcs provided fantastic skiing once again and very varied conditions. Please can you pass on our thanks to everyone for a very enjoyable holiday.
Isabelle and Duncan, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, January 2013

Just wanted to say Rob and Bianca are dream hosts! Lovely couple, really helpful and accommodating. Rob´s knocking out gorgeous restaurant quality food night after night - it´s a cut above your usual quality, which is pretty good anyway. A real treat. We intend to find him next year! Freddie and Rory doing a good job too.
Matthew Brooks, Chalet Bergerie, January 2013

I want to add my thanks to Ruth’s and particularly to thank you so much for recommending La Rosiere and Chalet Bergerie for our ski/boarding holiday. La Rosiere was a great place to learn to ski and my instructor Nicholas was so patient and kind. There were only two of us in the beginners’ class! After Tuesday, Rob, the other guy, went into the intermediate class so I got one-to-one tuition. Perfect! After my ski lesson and lunch, I thoroughly enjoyed myself walking the snow trails round La Rosiere and Les Eucherts. It really is a beautiful location. Chalet Bergerie was also great. The views from the chalet were amazing. Never having been on a ski chalet holiday before and not knowing what to expect, I was delighted with my experience and would highly recommend it to everyone. Rob, Bianca and Freddy looked after us all very well. Rob baked me a lovely cake for my birthday J and I found Freddy very “simpa” as the French say. I had a great time and it was definitely the way to celebrate my 60th birthday!!
Jane Kent, Chalet Bergerie, January 2013

Dear Laura, again, thank you for a great holiday. Although it began badly with our flight being diverted to Lyon, we had a fabulous time. It was very reassuring to know that our transfer drivers would still be waiting for us at Geneva, despite our flight being eight hours late in arriving. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to the drivers for waiting for us. Despite the late hour, we were still welcomed, even though they had had such a long wait for us. The chalet was all we had hoped for and more. The hot tub and steam room were especially popular. The staff, Lorraine, Paul, Portia and Faith could not be faulted. The food was excellent all week and the wines were great and much appreciated. Lucas enjoyed a good range of home made children´s food, something that is often neglected in chalets. His parents were especially pleased. Some of our group were new to chalet holidays and were amazed at the quality. I think they will definitely be going again. Lorraine provided and excellent and varied day´s skiing. It was great to discover runs we would never have found on our own. Thank you also, Laura for all your help in booking the holiday. It was good to be able to deal with one person and I feel that after all the e mails we have exchanged, we could almost be related. Knowing you were at the other end of the phone and in contact while we were enjoying the pleasures of sitting in the plane at Lyon helped us all deal with a very trying situation. Having done the arrangements for our trips for several years, I can only say that you were so prompt in replying to every e mail and all our requests for things and queries dealt with extremely well that it helped me, in particular, a great deal. The rental equipment was of good quality and everyone was pleased with what they got. Paul even arranged snow board hire at short notice, for the more foolhardy of the group.Overall, the holiday was great, as was the snow, the weather and the company. On behalf of all the group, thank you once again. I´m sure you will be hearing from us in the future.
Regards, Lucy aka Captain Kirk, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, January 2013

Quick note to say a huuuuuuuuuge thanks once again to all the Snowcrazy crew. Love the chalet, love the location, shame about Paul. Nah not really............Paul & Lorraine are tiptop in my book, very very nice people. Love to Porsche & Faith too.
Billy Edwards, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, January 2013

Hi Laura. Excellent week in Caspar, thank you very much. Emma and Alex were amazing hosts, so very many thanks to them also. Andy and Freddie were also very personable and looked after us well! The additional bonus of such good weather and conditions made it one of the best weeks skiing in recent years! Just hope it can be matched in Meribel in March!! Kind regards.
Sue and David Burr, Chalet Caspar, January 2013

I also wanted to say thank you for advising me to book with Snow Crazy and La Ros. I had a fab time and the food, hospitality and friendliness of your staff made it such a great holiday. I loved boarding and can’t wait to go again but will probably have to wait til next year now.
Ruth Kent, Chalet Bergerie, January 2013

Hi Laura, Please would you pass on my heartfelt thanks to Paul, Lorraine and Faith for an absolutely fantastic week at Eagle´s Nest last week. As you know we have been on many ski holidays with my family and with the same group of wonderful friends and I have to say that this can certainly be counted as one of our best. We were blessed with fabulous weather and really enjoyed the ski area which had runs that were just perfect for all of us (except of course that mogul black but the less said about that the better!!!). The chalet was first class - spacious, homely and very well appointed with many additional features - especially the hot tub - which were very much appreciated. Meals were a triumph and were coolly and calmly brought to the table day after day by Lorraine and Faith for us hungry gannets without them even breaking into a sweat! The food was truly delicious - we only wished they had shared their recipes! Finally Paul, Lorraine and Faith were excellent chalet hosts - friendly and attentive and great fun - we felt like part of a big family. Paul was a great ski guide and helped us whizz around the resort and led as to some stunning picnic locations. All in all Malcolm, Dan, Eva, Gracie and I (and all the gang) had a holiday to remember and that was thanks to your staff! Please be sure to pass on our best wishes and thanks - we must keep buying lottery tickets to fund a return visit sometime! With best wishes from
Ali Whittall and family, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Dec 12

Hi Laura, Thank you for your email and most importantly a great stay in La Rosiere. Chalet Bergerie provided the perfect setting for a superb week, Rob is an incredible chef and well supported by Bianca, Julie and Freddie. The food was amazing and Rob´s creativity in the kitchen provided really interesting takes and twists, some of which I am now trying to replicate at home! Please pass on our thanks to all the staff, their commitment and enthusiasm was exceptional.
Vici Browning, Chalet Bergerie, December 12

Hi there Snowcrazy team, Happy new year to you all! Thank you for providing such a wonderful chalet for the festive season. The chalet was always very warm and inviting and the hot tub was just what was needed after a good days ski. Emma and Alex deserve a massive thank you as they were kind and welcoming from the start and always very accommodating with questions and requests. Their meal plans also introduced new foods and ways of cooking which will have to be tried out again now we are home. A big thank you should also go to Freddie and Andy the ski hosts who pushed my skiing abilities further than I would have pushed myself independently and also provided some laughs along the way. Even when the conditions were not ideal they went out of their way to reorganise to a time not specified on the schedule so we wouldn´t miss out! Thank you. To the rest of the team whom I met over a few drinks on numerous occasions, thank you, you were all so kind and welcoming making sure I felt involved…even in the drinking games! Another fantastic holiday and have raved to friends and colleagues about you yet again! Wishing you all a happy and successful 2013.
Mark Lunn, Chalet Caspar, December 12

A very Happy New Year to you, Mike and all at Snow Crazy. We had a super time at Chalet Caspar, Alex and Emma excelled, they were great. I am certain you will see Sheila and I again in the not too distant future.
Chris Lunn, Chalet Caspar, December 12

Hi Laura, Ceri, Becky Dan and myself had a brilliant week in La Rosiere and it was made extra special by all the staff at Chalet Bergerie. Have to say that Rob´s food was amazing and both Bianca and Rob made us feel very much at home for the whole week. We really enjoyed our week and the chalet was superb - would definitely book with you guys again and will keep the offers you mention in mind. Thanks again and please pass on our thanks to Rob, Bianca, Jules and Freddy. Happy new year. Best regards
Jon Elms, Chalet Bergerie, December 12

Hi Mike & Laura. Thanks for a great holiday last week. Paul and Lorraine did a great job as usual, and everyone else in the Chalet said they enjoyed the holiday. Now looking forward to coming to La Roz in March. Best wishes and Happy New Year.
Graeme & Judy, Chalet Eagles Nest, December 12

Laura/Mike. Just a quick word to thank you and your team at Chalet Marigold we all had a wonderful time, Rhiana did a lovely job, the rest of the team where spot on. Many Thanks. Once again thanks for a memorable Christmas.
Stewart Smith, Chalet Marigold, December 12

Hi Laura. Thanks for your email. Firstly I was just like to say what a fantastic time we had at Eagles Nest and you have 3 people there in Paul, Lorraine & Faith who are a credit to your business. We felt completely at home during our week and we could not have asked for a better chalet, nicer hosts or snow conditions. Having been on many chalet holidays in the past I can say that this was by far the best. It really was a fantastic week, with great food and wines. Paul’s knowledge of the area was invaluable (to skiers and non-skiers alike) as was his ski hosting which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks again and keep up the good work. I hope that we will be able to holiday again with you in the future. I wish you continued success. Happy New Year.
Jamie Barrell, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, December 12

We had an absolute ball, it was fantastic made all the better by the company in the chalet and your staff, I was impressed by the service, and while I would wish to keep you as our secret I´m sure I will be promoting you throughout the year. we will definitely be returning but I think six weeks in one season may be as much as we can manage, so pencil us in for the same week next year, possibly in the Nest, this time.
Chippy White, Chalet Chocard, December 12

Hi Laura, hope you and Mike had a great Christmas? Thanks again for all you help in organising the trip. We had a fantastic time, couldn´t have asked for better conditions all week. We were certainly lucky that early in the season! Our thanks to you all once again for a great holiday, the girls loved being spoilt, the only downside is they now know what we get on our annual boys trip and are trying to scupper that so they can come along! As always, the hosts were fantastic, the food amazing and everything we needed was catered for. I´m sorry we didn´t get to utilise Paul for his ski hosting due to the mixed nature of the group, but hope we might bump into him in January when we head over that way. Thanks again to you all, and thanks for storing the boots!
Mark Langston, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, December 12

Winter 2011-2012...

“The best place in the Alps (assuming your not a multi-millionaire...)”

We´ve just booked to come here again in 2013 and thought we should review our visit from Feb 2011. Amazing...This was my 11th or 12th boarding trip but this was by far the best accommodation by an alpine mile!! Picked up from the airport (free) and driven to such a lovely chalet... As a group of 2 couples that had booked late we got a good discount but were left with the two smaller rooms, a flip of a coin decided who got the bigger of the two. To be fair I would have been happy in the smallest room but my double headed coin served me well :-) The room was right next to the hot tub and sauna which was very convenient and not the noise-fest I feared. Food was.....awesome!!! I´ve eaten at a few Michelin star restaurants that would get a run for their money from the food here!! I understand that staff will come and go over the seasons but if the standards are anywhere near the level of 2011 then I can´t wait for next March. Dwaine the chef was just sooo creative with his food, from the afternoon cakes, through to the popping candy infused home made chocolates..wine with dinner was absolutely fine and the kir royals with the pre dinner canapés a nice touch. Ski room was spacious complete with boot warmers and the guys would drive you up to the resort every morning and back in the evening if you didn´t want to walk the 10-15 minutes to/from the bubble...We weren´t particularly blessed with great snow conditions but the 3 V´s is so vast that it was still great fun (highly recommend the sledging course in Courchevel)..The ski hosting by the guys at Chalet Mont D´Or was good. Overall I´ve often paid a lot more for so much less - Great food, great accommodation, great service....hope next March is similar...

Hi Laura, We had a fantastic holiday thanks. After looking forward to it for all that time, it certainly met expectations. We were delighted with the chalet – it was everything we hoped it would be. So homely and comfortable. The hot tub was put to good use every evening, and the steam room and sauna were also tried out. We had a lovely relaxing time when we returned from the slopes. The skiing convenience was also good and I don’t think we ever used the minibus at the end of the day, it was so easy to walk. The food was excellent and Paul, Lorraine and Tony were great hosts, providing for our every need. They were such good company and it was so interesting to meet other people. We also really enjoyed the ski guiding. Paul tailored it brilliantly for our group and we seemed to cover quite a lot of ground and see most of the resort. We have been back almost a week now and I think we are all feeling a bit miserable. I will start looking at future holidays soon to cheer us up! Please do send newsletters and keep in touch. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday, and for all the help you gave me with organizing it. Regards,
Penny Parsons, Chalet Eagles Nest, April 12

Thank you so much, we had a wonderful holiday, Sainte Foy is a delightful resort, your chalet staff are fantastic and Chalet Marigold is lovely. We would certainly recommend Snowcrazy and we are definitely interested in returning next year.
Sarah Waters, Chalet Marigold, April 12

Hi Laura, A big thank you to you and your team for last week at Chalet Marigold. Stef, Will, Tom and Ian made it work very well with such a homely feel. The food was excellent. Good luck to you all. Kind regards,
Tim Lawrence, Chalet Marigold, April 12

Hi Laura, Thanks for yet another lovely ski holiday in your fabulous chalet. I have to say I can´t think of anything that was missing from the chalet, you had thought of everything. It was very relaxing. James, Josh and Chris looked after us really well and it was great to have Chris as our ski guide with all his knowledge of the slopes and where to go for the best conditions. I´m sure we´ll be back with SnowCrazy in the not too distant future. Thanks once again to you all for a fabulous holiday. Kind regards
Belinda, Andy and Ben Hart, Chalet Mont dOr, April 12

Hi Laura, I just wanted to drop you a line about our stay at Mont d´Or. After a couple of very underwhelming stays with chalet operators in St Anton and Val d´Isere, we took a break from the Alps for three years. However, we had such a great stay at Mont d´Or we are already thinking about booking for next year, as our holiday was so much better than previous chalet experiences. The free private transfers from the airport were an excellent start to our stay and the chalet was so much more spacious than others we have stayed in, in terms of both room size and common areas and we loved the sunny terraces, and the extra touches - robes, hair dryers and straighteners etc. The staff were the perfect mix of professional and personal, demonstrating great hosting skills. Chris provided a great ski guiding service taking us on routes that worked for all abilities - I am not a confident skier and he helped me to try runs I wouldn´t normally on my own, without me feeling pressured. James is an excellent chef and the quality of his cooking was again far higher than chalet food we have experienced previously and we really appreciated the quality wines you have selected. Josh was the perfect "chalet girl", always providing charming service and insisting on waiting for me as I made my way slowly down the slopes! On a more personal level, Alex and I are obviously good friends of Chris, but I would like to add that he was a star when my sister injured her leg, staying calm in a crisis, whilst James and Josh were great at keeping her spirits up, especially when we were stuck in the chalet waiting for her lift to the airport for her long journey home. We were obviously a mixed group in the chalet, and the boys worked extremely hard with the varying demands of all their different guests, always smiling and providing service above and beyond. I am sure we will be back next year!

“A great experience that renewed our confidence in Alpine chalet holidays”

After a few very underwhelming stays with chalet operators in St Anton and Val d´Isere, we took a break from the Alps for three years. We decided to give the Alps another go this year and had such a great time we are already thinking about booking for next year, as our holiday was so much better than previous chalet experiences. Snowcrazy offer free private transfers from the airport, which makes a great start to the holiday, as an alternative to waiting for ages for sufficient passengers to arrive to fill a coach and then suffering numerous drop offs along the way. The chalet was much more spacious than other chalets in terms of both room size and common areas, with sunny terraces, sauna and hot tub, and extra touches such as slippers, robes, hair dryers and straighteners. The staff are the perfect mix of professional and personal, demonstrating great hosting skills. Chris provided a great ski guiding service (very helpful as an introduction to the 3 valleys as it´s such a huge skiing area) and James (formerly of Daphne´s) is an excellent chef and the quality of his food is far higher than typical chalet food. The wine is also excellent, with a significant effort put into matching it with our evening meals. Les Allues is a drive to the lifts in the centre of Meribel, but the staff provide drop offs and pick ups and this was never an inconvenience. Lift passes and equipment hire can all be arranged via the chalet. There are a couple of decent bars and restaurants in Les Allues, if you fancy a break from the chalet and for staff night off and overall this was a thoroughly excellent experience.

Hi Laura, I just wanted to email to say how much I enjoyed the holiday at Chalet Mont d´Or. I found the chalet and facilities provided to be of a very high standard and I appreciated the personal touches of having a collection of books in individual bedrooms. Above all, I think that the service Chris, Josh and James provided really took the holiday to the next level. I liked how they made a huge effort to remember everyone´s names from the first day and also how they went out of their way to ensure we all had a great holiday (e.g. being very flexible with pick up times even during their day off). The food as well was really excellent. James took care of us very well and I can´t remember a vacation where I´ve eaten better (indeed, perhaps too well!). Although the season is over right now, I hope you can pass on my compliments to the guys at Mont d´Or and I hope to holiday with SnowCrazy next year. Best,
Jeremy Goh, Chalet Mont dOr, March 12

Hi Laura, Thanks we had a really great holiday last week. We really liked the resort, not too busy and plenty to do despite it being towards the end of the season. The chalet was great, clean, beautifully decorated. The food was superb. Above all, the chalet staff were amazing, really fun, friendly, professional, hard working. Gold star for each of them - they were superb. Stevie was very friendly and helpful and great with our son Jack. Will definitely consider coming back to you another year.
Phil Crocker, Chalet Chocard, March 12

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Mont d´Or. Chris, Josh and James made our stay exceptional - nothing was too much trouble for them and this is probably the best catered chalet we have ever stayed in. The decor and the whole ambiance of the chalet and staff were excellant and we hope to maybe return early next year - so I will get back to you again.
Pauline Agnew, Chalet Mont dOr, March 12

Hi Laura. Just a little note to say, even though my trip was cut short, staying with Snow Crazy is probably the best chalet experience I have had, and I am in a position to compare the experience with previous trips with VIP, Snowline, Flexiski and Ski Val. The boys were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. The chalet was exceptionally clean, spacious and well furnished. The standard of the food prepared by James was first class and it was refreshing to see that he had the autonomy to choose the dishes he prepared, using his skills from Daphne´s rather than the regimental weekly schedule of menu rotation. Josh was full of stories and chat and kept us amused on drop offs to the slopes. Chris´s ski hosting was excellent; accommodating the faster and slower skiers in the groups and above all, he was my knight in shining armour when he came to my assistance to help me from the mountain following my knee injury and then he eased my way through the medical process and repatriation to the uk. I shall definitely be recommending Snow Crazy to all my friends and acquaintances and look forward to staying in one of your luxury ski chalets again. Best wishes.
Louise Sullivan, Chalet Mont dOr, March 12

The Chalet is superb and was far more than we expected but the biggest selling point of the week is Paul, Lorraine and Tony - they are a credit to your business and are three of the friendliest people I have met. Lorraine´s food was superb - how she managed to produce such a variety of dishes from such a small kitchen is beyond me. We were all speaking at the airport and agreed the worst meal we had over the whole week was actually the one we went out for on the Thursday night when they had their day off - not that it was a bad meal but just that we were used to such a high standard by that point and the wine selection was excellent. I will have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending SnowCrazy to my friends and anyone else I meet and fingers crossed we will stay with you again. Thanks again for a brilliant time, pass our regards to P, L & T. With best wishes
Mark Wilson, Chalet Eagles Nest, March 12

Hi Laura. Just wanted to let you know we had an amazing week at Chalet Marigold in Sainte Foy. Steph, Will, Ian and Tom were the best hosts, they made our holiday extra special. The food was delicious, Ian did a great job and was very helpful in making a few changes for the kids. Steph will be an asset to any company, she is so professional, always a smile on her face. We have good memories of this holiday. Thanks
Carrie & Nigel Mertens, Chalet Marigold, March 12

Hi Laura. Thank you for the present and the cake for my birthday. The food was amazing, as was the wine, the service, the rooms.....in fact the whole holiday was perfect! We used Slide Candy for the hire of our equipement and they were fantastic. I could not have asked for more on my birthday as it snowed all day which made it very special for me! Every time we had a question it was answered and we did not want for anything. We had an amazing time and now the boyfriend has the skiing bug! Which means more skiing holidays, which pleases me lots! We are possibly looking to come out to Meribel again with yourselves staying in the same chalet, as we enjoyed it soo much. I am definitely looking to come skiing again with your company! Once again many thanks for such a great holiday. Kind regards,
Frankie Gilliland, Chalet Mont dOr, March 12

Hi Laura and Mike. Just to let you know we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great week skiing even though it was a bit soft in the afternoons. Sunbathing can be just as beneficial though !!! Food very good, but tell Ian I still think his lemon tart was from Super U !!! All the staff were great and Steph´s guiding in Italy superb. Please pass on our thanks to them all.
Dawn Johnson, Chalet Marigold, March 12

Hi Laura, Just a short note to let you all know we all enjoyed our stay at The Eagles Nest in Nancroix. Those of us who did the Ski guiding with Paul are just recovering! We all enjoyed the hospitality of Lorraine, Paul and Tony and the good hearty meals and the choices of wine were enjoyed by all. We found the Chalet itself was very warm and inviting and we all relaxed our aching limbs in the Hot tub, we had to coax the children out of it for their dinner. ‘Massage me’ was such a good idea and definitely needed after our long ski with Paul. Regards.
Melanie Grafham, Chalet Eagles Nest, March 12

Hi Laura and Mike, just a message to say what an amazing week I have just had at Chalet Marigold. Myself and Daniel Mortimer (who booked the holiday) have had the best time. Our hosts Tom, Ian, Will and Steph were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. As a team they really made the atmosphere special and they truly made the holiday the best it could have been. I cannot say enough good things about them. The food was of a very high standard every evening. I loved the quiet and unspoilt resort and its beautiful surroundings. Me and Dan came mainly for the off piste and were not let down! The Chalet was unlike any chalet I have ever been in, far too posh for ourselves! We definitely made use of the hot tub every day after a hard days boarding! I would love to come back next year and will be recommending SnowCrazy and Sainte Foy to everyone. Thanks so much for an unforgettable holiday!
Chris Chandler, Chalet Marigold March 12

Thanks Laura, lovely to meet you too and yes, we had a great time! As much as we would love another ski week this year I don´t think the holiday allowances are going to stretch to it. However, we can hopefully sort something out for next year so keep us posted on any offers. Hot tub sounds great! Best Wishes,
Ali Haylett, Chalet Bergerie, Feb 12

Hi Laura and Mike, Just to let you know we had a fantastic week in Sainte Foy and the Marigold last week. The atmosphere, the food, the ski hosting and the company were all excellent. Many thanks for a great holiday and I will certainly recommend Snowcrazy to any fellow skiers.
Warwick Hosker, Chalet Marigold, Feb 12

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for a great holiday at eagles nest with Paul and Lorraine. Great ski hosting, après and food. We particularly enjoyed the free flowing champagne in the hot tub. I hope we will be booking with you next year or even I hope to do a season! Thanks again, Kind regards,
Rebecca Dorricott, Chalet Eagles Nest Feb 12

“Best place to be in the Three Valleys”

Just came back from the best ski holiday ever - fresh snow, great company a lovely chalet and a hot tub, what more could you ask for? Snowcrazy have a wonderful set up with the price including transfers and minibus to the chaudanne. Les Allues is the next village down the valley from Meribel pretty quiet, definitely not lively which is great for us as we prefer to save our energy for the slopes. Chris was a great host - I really don´t envy him keeping us clients happy - he was incredibly patient with us and a demon skier! Do go out on the ski guiding to Mottaret, the burgers have to be seen (but don´t tell Jamie). You have to make sure you leave lots of room for the food and wine. The chalet is pretty much what you see in their photos - cosy contemporary - not sure I´ll be able to do without a hot tub or sauna on a ski holiday again! With Chris, Josh and James you can´t go wrong!

Hi Laura, I just wanted to drop you a note to say what a great holiday we had last week (25th Feb - 3rd Mar) in Chalet Caspar. Fraser and Lindsay were wonderful hosts and the food and wine was simply outstanding. For many of the group this was their first ski holiday, the beautiful Chalet and the Snowcrazy experience has set the bar so high, we will definitely be thinking of you for next year´s trip. Best wishes for the rest of the 2012 season, I hope Snowcrazy continues to go from strength to strength.
Andy Barnes, Chalet Caspar, Feb 12

Hi Laura, Today is our last day of the skiing week in Les Arcs. We have been staying in the Eagle´s Nest with Paul and Lorraine. We have only praises to share with you, especially catering, which was fabulous. Lorraine adjusted very nicely to my dietary requirements. Paul is great company and excellent ski host. We surely will be coming back. Best regards
Vladimir Jirasek, Chalet Eagles Nest, Feb 12

Dear Laura. Just wanted to write a short note of thanks for a fantastic holiday in Eagles Nest for the 18th February. Everything was well organised and the additional bonus of Paul Lorraine and Karen as hosts was just the icing on the cake. We were a varied group and everyone had a great time and the weather and snow were just perfect for skiers and non skiers alike. Les Arc/La Plagne is a fantastic resort with so much skiing it was impossible to be bored and as a more cautious skier, I found the runs challenging but not frightening and the views were well worth the effort to get across the ski area. We area already looking at when we can come out next year and will no doubt think about coming back to you at Eagles Nest. Thanks once again.
Sheila Radcliffe, Chalet Eagles Nest, Feb 12

We all had an absolutely fabulous holiday. Paul, Lorrraine and Karen were all super, very obliging and fantastic hosts. Daniel and Lowri also had lots of fun with nanny Laura, he was so settled, no tears at all, he ate, slept and played and lots of big smiles when we got back from the piste - nanny Laura was very good.
Kerry Booth, Chalet Eagles Nest, Feb 12

Hi Laura and Mike, Just a note to thank you all for the wonderful time we had a Chalet Chantelauze last week. Please convey our thanks to Karl, Becky and Jess for all their help, attention and hard work: it was all appreciated. The food was fabulous, the Chalet beautifully kept and a big thanks to Becky for getting me beyond my box in skiing and for making me appreciate what a wonderful acitvity it is. Many thanks.
Mike Penny Rob and Lucy Trevett, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 12

Hi Laura, Just wanted to say thanks for a great week. Ticked all the boxes. We go on Chalet-skiing hols every year and it really was up there with the best.
Mike Yerosimou, Chalet Chocard, Feb 12

We would like to pass on our thanks to Marigold team who took such great care of us, you would never have guessed it was their first week as a team. The food and hospitality were outstanding. We would love to thank Stef, Will, Ian and Tom personally. Cheers
Alex Comyn, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

“Simply perfect”

First visit to Meribel, it did not disappoint! Lovely Chalet with a beautiful outlook. Rooms were perfect and very clean. Food was great and the wine, oh the wine.......for a very nice change was gorgeous. Quite often wine in chalets is often just drinkable but this was seriously yummy! A big thank you to Laura who dealt with all our various booking changes, believe me there were many. We will definitely be back to one of Snowcrazy´s chalets.
Posted on Trip Advisor, Stayed January 2012, travelled with friends

We all had a fabulous time at Chalet Mont d’Or, with great snow! The food was excellent. The Chalet was kept to a very high standard, thanks to Chris’s exceptional organizational skills and work ethic. For myself and my husband the highlight for us was the amazing wine we were served each night. They were amazing, especially the white wines. We will be back to join you in the future so I look forward to receiving your newsletter. Again many thanks for a great holiday.
Sue Williams, Chalet Mont dOr, Jan 12

Laura, The chalet was fabulous as was the holiday as a whole. I would certainly come back and could be tempted this year. Could I also compliment all the hosts at the chalet. Their attitude, friendliness, and helpfulness was exemplary. They made the holiday memorable. Hang on to all 4 of them at all cost. I genuinely could not fault any of them. And, as for Ian , his catering was again, fabulous. He even got the kids to eat. On the kids front they had a ball. The staff were great with them and really made them feel at ease. They want to come back now!! Many thanks for a great holiday!
Andrew Wormstone, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

Hi Laura. Had such a lovely week in Caspar, just had to send our thanks to everyone. Lindsay, Nathan and Hilton were really great hosts and excellent company too. We felt really spoiled, especially sipping bubbly in the hot tub after a hard day on the slopes - divinely decadent! Loved the chalet (even if it was drowning in snow - shouldn´t complain about that) and thoroughly enjoyed the company of our fellow guests. All in all a fab week. Many thanks.
Sarah Furniss, Chalet Caspar, Jan 12

Hi Laura, I want to thank you & your team at Chalet Marigold for the most fantastic ski holiday. The chalet was gorgeously comfortable, the food was spectacular and the hosts very friendly & helpful. Steph´s ski safari hosting was lots of fun and really added to the holiday. It was a treat to be guided by Mike at Les Arc - that was definitely a highlight day for me. We loved St Foy and as we were so lucky with the weather we really couldn´t have been happier, seriously. My 40th was wonderful, even though it was the ski hosts day off they made me a lovely cake & helped set up the massage that Lisa had bought for me - all in secret -so it was a lovely surprise. So all in all we had a really great time and felt very lucky to have found Snow Crazy. I would really love to return - it´s unlikely for this year but we will definitely email you for next year. It was a superb holiday - certainly by far the best chalet I´ve ever stayed in - many thanks again! Best wishes,
Clare Stevenson, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

Laura, Thank you ever so much for our lovely stay at Mont D´or - Chris, James and Josh looked after us with great patience (forgot lift pass one day) and made it a totally chilled time for us all. Gary and I have been on many ski holidays over the years and I can definitely rate this year as the best so far (not just because of the wonderful snow conditions). Adding you to my favourites now. Thanks again and good luck with the rest of this fantastic season!
Nancy Lloyd, Chalet Mont dOr, Jan 12

Hi Laura, I had a fabulous time in Les Arcs last week at Eagle´s Nest and Paul, Lorraine and Karen were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was great. Thanks
Lesley Dunn, Chalet Eagles Nest, Jan 12

We had a great time in Ste Foy, you really have created a wonderful holiday structure with trips to Val D´isere and Les Arcs included (weather didn´t permit the trip to La Rosiere) and as I mentioned to Mike we would like to highlight what a stand out performer Steph is within your team (though everyone did really well!). It would have been great to make a returm visit this year but time doesn´t permit however we are already discussing plans for next year. Really enjoyed the holiday!! Thank you and look forward to our next visit. All the best
Stewart and Linda Hannah, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

Just had to let you know that we had an amazing holiday last week! The staff at Chalet Caspar were totally professional, very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious. Our sincere thanks to Lindsay for her fabulous food, Hilton and Nathan for their hard work hosting, driving (in not so fabulous conditions) and looking after us on the slopes. Great fun was had by all, we would definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks to those who make it all happen behind the scenes. Well done guys! Kind regards
Jim & Pat Sorrie, Chalet Caspar, Jan 12

Just a note on behlaf of our group (Al, Malcolm, Niel, Lee and myself) to say how much we enjoyed our holiday last week at Mont D´Or. Food was excellent, service from the hosts was first rate and standard of the chalet was top notch. We are seriously considering coming back again at the same time next year (obviously permitting permission from wives!) and I may be in touch again in the next few weeks to see if we can take advantage of any returning guests/early booking offer that may be available to us. Many thanks again
John McClelland, Chalet Mont dOr, Jan 12

Hi, can I say on behalf of the group, what a fabulous stay we had. The chalet was beautiful, the staff were lovely and the snow was.....incredible! We would be very interested in booking again, so will be in contact. Kind regards
Jeff Brewer, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

Hi Laura, just wanted to drop you a quick email to say ´thanks´ for helping to make it a great ski trip last week … We were so lucky with the snow & weather conditions and Paul, Lorraine & Karen were a great chalet team … always friendly & helpful, food was spot on, great Ski guiding, etc, etc. We really appreciated all that they did (please pass this on). I think that the consensus was that Peisy/Eagles Nest/Paradiski was a really good combination … probably the best of our 4 trips with you :)
Matthew Brearly, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 12

Hello Laura, just a quick email to say thankyou for a fantastic holiday. Everybody came home very happy. I would especially like to mention Chris and James. Chris is super efficient with the perfect level of professionalism and as a business owner I think he´s essential to the smooth running of the chalet, also he´s a great guy. Now James´s food is AMAZING, we all couldn´t believe the standard of food, it truly was fantastic. We all feel that we have had a great holiday and made 2 good friends. Thanks for everything...Many thanks again Alex. Oh and by the way the chalet is beautiful.
Alex Constantini, Chalet Mont dOr, Jan 12

Dear Laura. Just got back from an excellent week with you in Chalet Caspar. I know my wife has already written to you but I thought I would add my own personal thanks to you and your staff. I think from my part this is probably been the best trip I have had in the last 6 years with many different Chalet companies. The food was outstanding; Lindsey, Nathan and Hilton excellent in their service, presentation and attention to detail in all respects. The skiing area, whilst not something you can control, proved to be an excellent choice for our party, particularly my wife. One of the reasons why I chose it! The steps are a bit of a challenge at times but with all the recent snowfall I can appreciate the difficulties you have in keeping them accessible. The hot tub was magic! Please pas on again my thanks to all the guys. I would be more than happy to return with Snow Crazy for another trip and/or recommend you to others. Thanks once again.
James Howard AKA Cinderella, Chalet Caspar, Jan 12

We returned from our ski chalet in La Rosiere on Saturday. On behalf of all the group, I would like to thank you very much. We all had a great time and agreed that this was one of the best of the many trips we have made. The organisation on your part was extremely helpful and informative. The efficient sorting of equipment and lift passes was much appreciated. A holiday of this nature is easily made or broken by the chalet staff but Lindsey, Nathan and Hilton were excellent. The best we have encountered. I would like to thank Hilton for going out of his way to get Jim back when he was unwell. The food was extremely well presented (I shall have to consider doing your course) and we enjoyed a great and varied menu during the week. We have experienced poor children´s food in the past but this time it was good and varied. Lucas´s mother was very pleased. The chalet was well cleaned and much liked by us all. Lucas particularly enjoyed the table football and the rest of us the hot tub. We shall probably be doing another trip next year and will definitely consider using Snowcrazy again so please keep me updated on your chalets etc. Once again thank you and please convey our appreciation to the staff. Yours,
Lucy Howard, Chalet Caspar, Jan 12

Hi. Just returned home and thought I should let you know that a great time was had by all. We had a fab time and were overwhelmed with the food quality and the helpfulness of Chris and James. They were part of the group whilst still remaining professional- they got the balance completely right. We had never been catered before and it exceeded our expectations. James is a very talented chef and both of them were great company. Whilst we were there unfortunately one of the group was injured but she could not have been taken better care of by them both. The place was kept immaculately clean, I normally suffer with allergies when I go away due to dust and this is my first allergy free holiday. Even on their day off they were there to help, we went out for tea and Chris gave us a lift as one of our friends was on crutches. This is just one of the examples of how they both went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. I cannot rate highly enough. We hope to either return to that chalet or one of your others sometime next year. The gauntlet has definately been thrown down. Many thanks.
Olivia and Luke Channon from Kendal lake district, Chalet Mont dOr, Jan 12

Subject: CHALET MARIGOLD - GOLD STAR! Hi Laura, It’s Barbara Haughton here, we were at Chalet Marigold 2 weeks ago. I wanted to let you know how great the hosts were. We’ve been to Chalet Marigold before (about 3 years ago) and the hosts then were really great and I couldn’t have faulted them either. Kirsty, Chris, Steph and Will were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble (including my vegan diet). The best thing about these guys is that they really seem to embrace the lifestyle, rather than see it simply as a job and that really shone through. I hope you will pass on our thanks to them for making this a really enjoyable holiday (and for Mark’s Birthday cake). Kind regards,
Barbara Haughton, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

My husband and I along with some friends of ours stayed at Chalet Marigold, Ste Foy from 8th to 15th January this year. This was our second stay at Chalet Marigold and I´m writing to say that the service and hospitality we received exceeded our expectations once again. The chalet team - Kirstie, Chris, Steph and Will were great hosts, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were served a varied menu, everything tasty and fresh and Chris and Kirstie went out of their way to ensure that everyone´s tastes were met. Having had such an enjoyable time I would like to enquire if you have availability for 6th to 13th January 2013?
Rachel Foley, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you for providing my group with such a fantastic holiday in the Marigold chalet last week! We had an absolutely fantastic time - the location is great, the chalet beautiful & the staff in the chalet were brilliant & couldn´t do enough for us (not to mention of course that we had fabulous conditions)!
Karen Cunliffe, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

Dear Laura and Mike, Just a short note to say that our week in Ste. Foy was the most perfect ski holiday ever – and we have been doing this for over 20 years. The Snowcrazy Team could not have been more helpful, delightful and fun to be with. The meals were the very highest standard. Champagne and canapés before each meal, and port with the cheese – wonderful! We were fortunate to have such superb weather. Sue and I just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all that you both do to make our trips so memorable. The same goes for our stay at the Eagles Nest two years ago. We wish you both continued success. With very best wishes,
Tony and Sue Lytle, Chalet Marigold, Jan 12

Hi Laura, We all had a great time thanks - the chalet was perfect for us, and just as lovely as it looks on the website! Chris and James were great hosts - James is a very talented chef and it was a pleasure to eat his food after a full day skiing - although there were some nights when we probably didn´t do it justice as we´d been out for lunch on the slopes! We may be tempted to return next year. Thanks for a great holiday!
Angela McClintock, Chalet Mont d´Or, Jan 12

Hi Laura, Happy New Year to you too... We got home safely after our super week and only yesterday we were all together reminiscing about what a great holiday we´d had and how much we loved Ste Foy and Chalet Marigold. From the moment we arrived Chris and Kirsty did a marvellous job of looking after us along with Becky and Damien (for the first half of the week). Having our skis there for us on arrival (which we were delighted with the standard...top end!) and being welcomed with a glass of fizz and warm slippers certainly made us feel quite at home. We really loved Chalet Marigold and it was so cosy with our lovely spacious rooms, the roasty, toasty log fire and fantastic hot tub which we made good use of I think most nights! We thoroughly enjoyed all our meals and the lovely glass of fizz and canapes...and cheeseboard every night...Well...we really felt very spoilt! We were so lucky with all the fantastic fresh snow we had and having initially thought we would be out on the ski safari most days actually we were really happy enjoying the fresh snow in Ste Foy. It is a pretty village and resort and has a great feel about it. There were hardly any queues and the runs around the resort were just so quiet allowing us the freedom to almost have the slopes to ourselves some days. I think also being away between Christmas and New year was just made all the more special by everyone at Snowcrazy. Everyone was so friendly and totally made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and at the same time making us all feel very relaxed...We all just want to come back again...!! Until next year then...hope to see you all again then...unless we can scrape together some pennies to squeeze in another trip this year...? Please pass on our thanks and well wishes to all your team at Chalet Marigold and hope you all have a great season. Thank you once again for a truly superb holiday. Kind Regards.
Gillian Henderson, Chalet Marigold, New Year week 2011

Just a quick line to say thank you very much for our week in Ste-Foy, we really enjoyed it. It was nice to see you both again. You have a great team in Ste-Foy, they really looked after us very well. I think you will get some repeat business from the others staying that week as they were all very impressed with the set up at Snow Crazy.
David Taylor, Chalet Marigold, New Year week 2011

We had a lovely time at Marigold and thought the chalet and resort were fantastic. A special mention must go to Kirsty/Chris/Steph/Will who were fantastic. We have stayed at many chalets and the service they provided was the best we had received. They genuinely went "that extra mile" and would alone be a good enough reason to return. The food, wine and accommodation were superb. Thanks for you help and assistance you have developed a great niche company in a crowded market and we will definitely return and recommend you to our friends. Many best wishes
Alan Bevan, Chalet Marigold, New Year week 2011

Hi Laura. Happy New Year to you. Yes we had a wonderful holiday at Chalet Marigold! It was probably one of the best ski holidays we have had, due in no small part to the friendly, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for Kirsty, Chris and the crew, please pass on our thanks to them. The weather was great, slopes half empty and the company very entertaining! Please continue to send us any offers you may have as we will definitely be booking for next year. Kind regards.
Mary Dawson, Chalet Marigold, New Year week 2011

We all had a fantastic holiday in Chalet Mont d’Or and Chris, Ed and James could not have more helpful and truly made our stay all the more enjoyable.
Pat Worrell, Chalet Mont d´Or, New Year week 2011

The holiday was fantastic and Lindsey, Hilton and Nathan were the best hosts we have had in the 15 years we have been taking chalet holidays. They are a real credit to your company.
Chris Barlow, Chalet Caspar, New Year week 2011

Dear Laura. Can I thank you and the team for giving us a fantastic holiday at Eagles Nest over New Year. We have been on numerous winter holidays with several high profile companies who make various claims about the service they provide. All of these fade into insignificance when it comes to our break with "Snowcrazy". The chalet was great and location was perfect for us with families. Paul, Lorraine and Karen were the perfect hosts and Stevie was wonderful with the kids. I could go on about the food, atmosphere etc, etc but I won´t. I will just mention what I think makes you stand out from the rest, it´s the "quality of service". From the tens and tens of emails exchanged to ensure we had all the bases covered to the obvious pride that the Eagles Nest team have in what they do, which drives them to ensure we wanted for nothing. Even two broken legs didn´t prevent us from having a great holiday. This leads me on to next season. We would like to secure our places nice and early....
Andrew Carter, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, New Year week 2011

Thanks Laura. We had an absolutely fantastic time and your chalet team really were brilliant. They could not have been more helpful. Our first experience of staying in a chalet was memorable and the kids had a great time.
Declan Mahon, Chalet Marigold, New Year 2011

“Another Christmas with SnowCrazy”

We stayed here (Chalet Mont d´Or) for Christmas 2011. We´d stayed in La Rosiere with Snowcrazy in 2009 and this was just as good. The chalet is immaculately clean. Our room was large and our kids room was great for them. The bathrooms were cleaned every day. The beds were comfy and big. I was horrified by the state of my teenage kids´ room when I saw it and told the guys to leave it but they didn´t! I didn´t make it to the games room, our kids are mid teens and probably a bit old for it. Ski hire is all sorted out very efficiently, in the chalet, by a local company, who aren´t that expensive compared to say, Intersport. Snowcrazy get your liftpasses for you too. Ski guiding is available and the ski area is so huge it´s good to have some local knowledge. Chris, Ed and James were very amenable, the food was excellent. Poor James´ oven broke on Christmas Day but he still pulled it out of the bag. The wine was first class, Chris had some great ones stashed away. We took our own gin and the fridge was full of tonics etc. Like I said, the skiing is fab, the area is huge and it was our favourite skiing ever. It´s a bit of a faff to get the bus up there and back, but the guys are pretty easy going over lifts. Chris was very helpful on the last day when my knee had gone and my daughter wasn´t well and wanted to come back to the chalet, so he took me to pick her up from the bubble. We are going to Austria for a long weekend in March and I have suggested Austria for Christmas, but the kids are adamant that a Snowcrazy Christmas is the way to go!
Posted on Trip Advisor Stayed December 2011, travelled with family

Hi Laura, I just wanted to email to thank you for the fantastic time we all had this week. The skiing was great (even if we couldn´t see more than 10 ft in front of ourselves!) but more importantly, from your point of view, the chalet was lovely and the staff were better than we could have ever expected. Steve, Sarah, Ryan and Fraser were all lovely, friendly and helpful people who made our trip all the more memorable. We really cannot thank them enough for their efforts. On top of being helpful and excellent company, the food was always delicious. Happy Christmas to all!
Adam Sergeant, Chalet Bergerie, 17 Dec 11

Hi Laura. We thought you might like to see these photos. Lindsay, Nathan and Hilton were all such wonderful staff when we had a week at Chalet Caspar providing wonderful food, great help and keeping the chalet spick and span.
Rosalind Eagleton, Chalet Caspar, December 11

Dear Laura, Thank you for your email. I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. We all had a fantastic time at Chalet Mont d´Or and felt very well looked after. All the people new to Snow Crazy were truely amazed how easier your team made the holiday whilst sampling some great food. You will definitely see us booking again, sadly probably not again this season! Best wishes,
Hal Brindley, Chalet Mont dOr, December 11

Dear Laura, Many thanks to you and the team at Mont D´Or for a fabulous Christmas Holiday. Particular thanks to James, Ed and Chris for ensuring that the Chalet was nut free, even down to disinfecting the door handles! Alf´s allergies are quite severe so this level of concern made our holiday so much more relaxing. Chris´s organisation, Ed´s hospitality and James´ catering exceeded our expectations so thanks again and best wishes to all for 2012. With best wishes
Tracey Hardcastle, Chalet Mont dOr, December 11

What a fab time we had in Meribel. We fell in love with the skiing and the area, but as usual SnowCrazy made sure we had a great holiday. Chris, James and Ed were superb hosts. The chalet was immaculately clean every day and I was embarrassed to see they had even managed to tidy my two teenagers´ bedroom (I told them to stop doing it but they wouldn´t!). They were endlessly polite and accommodated all our various requests. The food was excellent and we still can´t believe James managed to produce Christmas dinner without an oven! I really appreciated the various white wines Chris produced, no vin du table at the Mont D´Or. The hot tub and the sauna were fantastic to relax in every evening, again very clean. Chris provided our son with some great skiing on the last day, he was a good sport! I could go on but it´s our second Christmas with SnowCrazy and won´t be our last. I hope the season continues to go with a swing.
The Biltons, Chalet Mont d´Or, December 11

Could you please pass on our thanks to Hilton, Lindsey and Nathan who were just a great set of chalet hosts. Kind regards for the New Year,
Ali Gollins, Chalet Caspar, December 11

We had a great time thanks Laura - the chalet staff and the extra´s we met were BRILLIANT - the chalet was lovely and well presented extra with all the extras thought about - we probably won´t return this season but seriously considering new year at Chocard next year - do you have a price per person for that week yet?
Gaynor Williams, Chalet Chocard, December 11

Dear Laura, Just wanted to drop you a note to thank the Snowcrazy team for a fantastic holiday. The chalet hosts at Chalet Mont Dor have been superb, they were organised, accommodating and attentive whilst being relaxed and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and James what a star! the food was truly beautiful. The hosts went above and beyond what we expected. They played ping pong with Joe and Will, organised for the children to help put up the christmas tree the day after we arrived and Chris even helped us on Christmas eve to stage the appearance of Santa´s sleigh landing in the snow of the main balcony, not in the job description I´m sure!! But what a great bloke and my 8 year old´s face the next morning believing that Santa had truly landed said it all. The holiday ran like clockwork from the transfers to the Slide Candy ski rental equipment (excellent quality) so thank you Laura for all the pre arranging. Snowcrazy have a great set up at Chalet Mont D´or and the extra attention to detail like good wines, bath robes etc, don´t go unnoticed. Please pass our appreciation on to Chris, Ed and James. We would like to stay at Chalet Mont Dor again if possible in the future so may well be in touch at some point for quotes. Kind regards,
Linda Robinson, Chalet Mont dOr, December 11

Winter 2010-2011...

Had a fabulous holiday. Paul, Lorraine & Kylie made the hosting done look like a walk in the park. Great time had by all and the sun came out all week.
Cheers, The Maskell & Phillips Family, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, April 11

Thank you for a fantastic week. We had such a good time, food & wine superb - Thanks
The Danvers Family, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, April 11

Best hosting we have ever had, best cakes and lovely hot tub. Really nice food and a lovely chalet, thanks for a great time.
Harriet age 14, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, April 11

We have had a great time, despite the limited snow. This is a super chalet and the service at all levels by Paul, Lorraine & Kylie has been fantastic. We hope to come back again and explore all those runs that had no snow on. Thank you all very much for making our stay enjoyable.
Sarah, David, Sam, Jessica & Harriet Patterson, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, April 11

Dear Mike and Laura, Being back home has come as a bit of a shock! We have all got very used to not having to do anything other than to enjoy ourselves. No washing up: deciding on menus: making beds: cleaning loos: hanging out washing: We have had an absolute ball. We should all like to say a very BIG thank you to everyone. In no particular order – to Fiona and Mike for transporting us every day over to Val. To Kirsty and Chris for everything they did for us. They made our stay at Chalet Marigold very special and always made us feel so welcome. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble and we have all put on a few extra pounds – no doubt due to the excellent food we were served on a daily basis. We have all had a holiday to remember and know that staying with you at Chalet Marigold in Ste Foy will remain in all our memories for a very long time. Laura, thank you for being so patient with us – you helped to make our booking experience very straight forward. Also, thank you for keeping us up to date with snow conditions, even as we were leaving Bristol airport. We wish you both and Snowcrazy a very successful future.
Helen Fletcher, Chalet Marigold, April 11

Just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for a great week in Meribel. (I would like to say a great week skiing but due to ankle sprain i was in the chalet most of the time soaking up the glorious weather- so an excellent holiday none-the-less!) Please pass on my thanks to all of the hosts who made our stay so relaxed, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. They went out of their way to meet our every need and made us feel right at home and utterly spoilt. I would also like to extend a particular thank you to Rachel and Dwayne who were really excellent, top hosts. They were organised, informative, friendly and did a great job providing such a streamlined service. I think I can say on behalf of all the guests that the food was exceptionally good. The kind of food I would hope for from a very good restaurant back here at home which I was not expecting from a skiing holiday. In fact, it was the highlight of the holiday coming home (or moving from sun-deck to dinner table) to such fantastic food. Lastly, thank you to Andy who took care of Caroline my friend who would have otherwise have been skiing solo for most of the week. He was very kind and great company to us both actually, making for a very relaxed, fun, easy going week, which is exactly what we were hoping for.
Katie De Albuquerque, Chalet Mont D´Or, March 11

Hi Laura, I thought you might be interested in feedback following our recent stay at the Mont D’or Chalet. The staff were excellent: Rachel, Dwain, Chris and Andy. They struck a really nice balance of professional yet friendly, fun and willing to join in with the group when appropriate. The transfers and ski hosting were great. I can’t speak highly enough of the team. The food and portion sizes were excellent. Hot tub size/location were great. Table tennis...This was actually one of the reasons we booked in the first place and proved to be great fun. Good room sizes. Airport transfers. Overall we really enjoyed the holiday and will definitely take a look at your other chalets next year.
Jenni Ramsden, Chalet Mont d´Or, Mar 11

Hi Laura, had a really great holiday, thank you so much, could not be faulted!! Looking forward to the next time.
Steve Crowley, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 11

Hi Laura and Mike, Just wanted to say that we had a wonderful holiday in la Rosiere! Thanks to the weather of course, but the chalet and the service was also great. We will spread the word on SnowCrazy here in Holland. Thanks again.
Pieterjan & Arnard van der Zwan, Chalet Chocard, Mar 11

Hello Mike & Laura. Its taken me a while to email! I wanted to let you know how fantastic your team at Marigold are (Claire, Tom, Kirsty & Chris). We had a fantastic holiday at the end of February. It started with the faultless airport pick up from Lyon followed by a lovely welcome (ski equipment & passes ready) and a lovely room. The food that Chris and Kirsty produced was delicious every night (with great wines). They even managed to make a birthday cake for my husband on their day off! We thoroughly enjoyed the company of your team and our fellow guests. We would certainly highly recommend you as a company and we will be back next year. Thank you to you all.
Louise, Hans-Peter and Oska Wurmili, Chalet Marigold, Feb 11

I wanted to take the time to say how wonderful Paul, Lorraine and Kylie were throughout our stay. I cannot fault them. Many times they exceded my expectations.
James Morgan, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 11

Hi Laura, Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Chalet Caspar. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in Chalet Caspar. We loved the boutique, personalised experience you provided. You guys were so friendly and helpful, from our initial contact with you booking the holiday - when one of your first comments to me when I was concerned we had kids and did not want to book the entire chalet was ´we love kids at snow crazy´ to meeting us at the airport and ferrying us and our kit to the lifts. The chalet was charmingly beautiful; made only better by Rosie and Calvin the hosts, who could not have done more to look after us and the kids. They made us feel so welcome, producing lovely food and creating a fantastic ambiance that made the holiday very special. Nanny Nicola was great with the kids, they still miss her. Her flexibility made it ideal for us and ensured we enjoyed the skiing without having to worry about the kids having a good time. They had great time and we have had tears because Nicola had to stay at La Rosiere rather than coming home with us. See you next year! PS. As Rosie will tell you, I am a bit OCD - Chalet Caspar was as clean as my house at home and that means a lot!
Colin & Esther Caskie, Chalet Caspar, Feb 11

Dear Laura and Mike, thank you so much for a fantastic week skiing and for ferrying us about. We were so lucky to experience Les Arcs as well!! We have never been treated as well as our week with you at Chalet Chantelauze. We hope the ski season ends well for you and the crew. Please also thank the fabulous Rachel and Damian and Emma. The food and their hospitality was overwhelming - really first class service. I will ring you next year for sure. Many thanks again, love Mandy, Mick, Peter and Elaine.
Mandy Hall, Chalet Chantelauze, Mar 11

Hi Laura, just a quick message to say a big thank you to all the people involved in making our stay at the chalet a fantastic experience. You have a great group of people who took great care of us and we all had an excellent time. Thanks again.
Andy Watt, Chalet Mont d´Or, Mar 11

Hello Mike and Laura, just a note to say a huge big thank you for last week at Eagles Nest plus the eventful skiing with you! I am sure you already know we all had a great time and really enjoyed being back with Paul and Lorraine again, spoilt and comforted each day. Lorraine also remembered little things like Leonie loving chocolate bread and butter pudding, me not liking sweetcorn and needing a carafe of water each night to take to bed. Paul also watched me carefully on the slopes on the Friday following my little fall. Little things like these really make a relationship special and is very appreciated and I am sure you know how fabulous Paula and Lorraine are already.
Angie Court, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 11

Just wanted to say what a fabulous week we had at Les Allues. We were thoroughly spoiled. Chris, Rachel, Dwaynne, Steve and Andy were superb & couldn´t have done more for us. The food was incredible & the ski guiding was a huge highlight. Everyone got on and it was a huge success. Many thanks to all.
Vyv & Andy Massie, Chalet Mont d´Or, Feb 11

Hi Laura. Just to thank you very much for the lovely chalet holiday in Chantelauze. The staff were fantastic. We hope to return next year to Meribel.
Kim Lyons, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 11

Laura, Personally and I am sure on behalf of our whole group, I would just like to say what a terrific Chalet Marigold is and what a wonderful holiday we had in Sainte Foy. It was truly a breath of fresh air compared to other ski holidays we have had, to have such attentive hosts, superb food and a wonderful home from home feel. The chalet itself was superb; the facilities second to none and the location perfect. Claire, Tom, Chris and Kirstie (and also Fiona who helped out too!) were all massively friendly and enthusiastic and did not fail to exceed everything we asked for - a truly superb group of guys you have there and a credit to your company. Sainte Foy was also awesome. The pistes were wonderful and the village charming yet busy enough to enjoy an apres beer or a wonderful meal as we did in La Maison à Colonnes, which was recommended to us and booked by Claire. A word also regarding the ski and boot hire - brilliant. The best skis I have had and at a bargain price, all ready in the chalet. I have skiied in many French resorts over the last few years but none have impressed me as much as Sainte Foy. The same can be said of the chalet too; having had some good and truly awful experiences, a stay at Chalet Marigold has now raised the bar to a level which I honestly believe we would struggle to better, at any price. Thanks again for a great week - I will be leading the quest to get a group of us big enough to fill the chalet next year! Kind regards.
Matt Jones, Chalet Marigold, Feb 11

Hi Laura, Just a quick note to say thank you for a great week in Caspar. Calvin and Rosy were great hosts, fun to be with and looked after us very well. We couldn’t have asked for better fellow guests for our stay. Good luck for the rest of the season and hope to see you on a deep snow covered piste!! All the best.
Peter and Jean McNaughton, Chalet Caspar, Feb 11

Dear Laura. Just a quick email to say a big thank you on behalf of the group - we had a genuinely great time last week and a lot of that was down to Snowcrazy´s organisation and attention to detail, (although the fresh snow helped make it even better!). We found the chalet to be really comfortable and spacious and very much enjoyed being wined & dined every evening without having to lift a finger! Thanks to you all for helping look after Becky too after she broke her leg. Hope to be back before long - next season seems like a long wait!! Kindest regards.
Alex Bonner, Chalet Chocard, Feb 11

Dear Laura, Just a quick note to thank Snowcrazy for the week we had in Caspar last week. The chalet is lovely and Rosie and Calvin were great – they really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed (including providing delicious sandwiches for our drive home!). The food was excellent, as was the company and Natasha and Lucy definitely wish they were back there and not going to school today. Thanks again.
Vicky, Ivan, Natasha and Lucy, Chalet Capsar, Feb 11

Hi Laura. Just wanted to send a few lines to say thanks so much for making our holiday at Chalet Chocard so enjoyable. We had a mixed group of both ability and ages, but I can honestly say the teenagers had just as much fun as the parents. Jenny´s charming personality and Jamie´s awesome cooking meant that after an exhausting day on the slopes, we could just relax and be totally taken care of. Whilst on the slopes we had Dan, who went beyond the call of duty when he had to walk half way up the 8 minute drag lift with my daughter who had fallen off her snow board. So thanks again for giving us our best skiing holiday ever. Regards.
Justine Roseblade, Chalet Chocard, Half Term Feb 11

Hi Laura, Thanks for getting back to me – we did manage to sort out an hour’s husky sledding for my son and me and it was absolutely brilliant. We had a great week and our chalet “maids”, Jenny and Jamie, and our ski host, Dan, were excellent and catered for our every need. We even managed to bring some snow with us, as a result of which the conditions were good, so it was a great week all round. Several of our group have been on a number of skiing holidays before and this one was far and away the best ever, so much credit and thanks is due to you, Mike and your staff. Cheers.
Martin Reeves, Chalet Chocard, Half Term Feb 11

Dear Laura, I would like to thank you and your team for a fantastic week. We all had a great stay with you. We enjoyed your relaxed profession service, which made us feel relaxed, welcome and well looked after. You all were able to attend to our needs and requests. I hope to join you again. A big hello and thank you to all the guys at Marigold.
Kelly Linehan, Chalet Marigold, Feb 11

“Last Minute Family Ski Trip”

We spent a fantastic week at Chalet Chocard during our half term week in February 2011. It was very much a last minute booking and Laura at Snowcrazy was efficient and helpful and made sure we got a great deal and that all the arrangements were in place before our arrival, including a free night and dinner in the chalet at the start of our holiday as we arrived a night early and also free transportation to and from Geneva Airport which was a big financial bonus. La Rosiere is a very pretty village looking straight across the valley at Les Arcs. The La Rosiere ski area connects to La Thuile in Italy where the skiing was fantastic. My 12 year old went over there most afternoons for a pizza and icecream. There is a large selection of shops and restaurants up in the village. We were slightly concerned about the proximity of the chalet to the slopes as the kids never like having to haul their boots and skis about and so we usually prefer ski in ski out. However, we need not have worried. Whilst the chalet offers a complimentary minibus up and down at your requested time in the morning and evening, the free local bus runs past the chalet every 15 minutes and the bus stop is literally a 20 step walk up the road from the chalet. The bus drivers spoke excellent English and were always very pleasant. The village was maximum one mile away and was a pleasant walk for anyone with time on their hands. Snowcrazy also offer a lift up and down to the village on the staff’s evening off but we chose to take the bus up and have a leisurely walk back down after a fabulous pizza in Le Petit Danois. The chalet itself was lovely in a peaceful forested area. There was a huge hot tub at the front of the chalet with far-reaching views through the trees across the valley. There was also a steam room though we didn’t use it. There was a large wraparound balcony on the first floor, ideal for catching the sun and enjoying the views. My husband and I had the master bedroom suite on the first floor and it was very quaint with lots of lovely carved pine and hearts, an en suite and a door out onto the balcony, underfloor heating and plenty of storage space. The kids, 12 and 15, had an enormous bedroom on the floor above with en suite shower room. Close enough for comfort but far enough away for a bit of peace! There was always abundant hot water for showers. There was a massive dining table which would easily accommodate 12 people and a lounge area which would be cosy for 12 unless u were all from the same group as is often the case. There was a large selection of dvds and books for guests’ use. There was sky tv also an ipod/iphone docks and free wifi. Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were all provided by Jenny and Jamie, a young English couple with Jamie dolng all the cooking. There was a hot option plus divine croissants, cereal, juices etc in the morning and home baked cakes in the afternoon. Canapes were served around 7 and dinner was a very substantial three course affair, followed by coffee and a cheeseboard! Jamie worked hard to produce a great dinner in the evening with a wide range of vegetables accompanying the main course and a highly calorific dessert to follow. They were happy to make menu changes for things which the kids didn’t like. Meals were served with local wines. The rest of the Snowcrazy team whom we met were Fiona, the very excellent ski guide and chauffeur, and Jason, Ben and Chris who organised the ski hire, lift passes, online check-in on the way home etc. Ski equipment, lift passes etc were all delivered to the chalet. The tech guys were happy to bring other boots for my daughter to try when her feet were in agony after her first day on the slopes. This was great rather than having to go up to one of the numerous ski shops in town. This was our first Snow Crazy experience and all in all I could thoroughly recommend them and would have no hesitation in coming back to Chalet Chocard again and would be happy to recommend it to friends. Hi Laura, I just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we enjoyed our time in La Rosiere last week. It already seems like a lifetime ago. La Rosiere was a lovely village and Chalet Chocard was ideal. The team of Fiona, Jenny and Jamie were great with Jamie being very professional and unflappable in the kitchen. Had I been serving dinner up to 8 strangers every night I definitely would have panicked more than Jamie did. He also did his best to work round any ‘culinary difficulties’ the kids might have had which as a parent was good! Also the variety of vegetables every evening was excellent. Also to the rest of the team whom we met, Jason, Chris Ben etc, thank you very much for making it a great holiday.
Diane Armstrong, Chalet Chcoard, Feb 11

I stayed at Chalet Marigold with my friends and relations last week. I just want to let you know we had a fantastic time and your hosts- Claire, Tom, Chris and Kirsty were marvellous and made our holiday memorable. Please thank them again for all they did.
Rita O´Donoghue, Chalet Marigold, Feb 11

Dear Laura, Back in Edinburgh without too much delay. Just writing to thank everyone so much for a lovely holiday. A huge amount of credit for this must go to our wonderful hosts, Rosie and Calvin, they couldn´t do enough to make our holiday great. We thought the chalet was beautiful, spotlessly clean, the food and wine delicious and their company very entertaining (Rosie´s nursing skills were also greatly appreciated). Thanks too to Dan for his guiding and chauffeuring. Could you please pass our thanks onto them and send them our love.
Sian Shaw, Chalet Caspar, Feb 11

Hi laura...I have just returned from Ste Foy staying at Chalet Marigold and I would like to say what a fantastic week we all had...your staff are a real credit to you, Claire - Tom - Kirsty and Chris - were absolutely wonderful and could not have done any more to make our stay enjoyable...they are a great bunch of people!!
Danny Linehan, Chalet Marigold, Feb 11

Hi Mike and Laura, Just felt I had to write and thank you for a fabulous week at Chalet Marigold. The food was excellent thanks to Kirsty and Chris, the ambience was great. The resort of Sainte Foy is absolutely charming. I found the ski safari/hosting was invaluable thanks to Tom and Claire enabling me to ski six resorts during the week. I would also like to say a special thank you to Claire for giving me some of the best days skiing in thirty years on the slopes. A memorable holiday in every way.
Malcolm Jarvis, Chalet Marigold, Feb 11

I wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thankyou to yourself, Mike, Rachel, Damian, Emma & the rest of the Snowcrazy team for ensuring that we had a great week in Chantelauze .... so thankyou!
Matthew Brearly, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 11

“We are booking again”

The end of the ski season is upon us and thoughts inevitably turn to planning next years skiing and in doing so I am prompted to comment on this years adventures. We went to Le Chocard in January, a group of 6 couples, we had the whole chalet to ourselves and it worked very well. On arrival the first thing we noticed is the chalet was spotlessly clean & then it was maintained so all week despite our best efforts to do otherwise. The food was very good, way above average for chalet food both in quality and quantity. The all inclusive wine was what you would expect.......The building itself was as described on the tin, we loved it. As was the rest of the package, all as described on the Snow Crazy www. Most importantly the staff were first class. Jamie, ably assisted by his staff of one, Jenny, produced great food, on time all together & with seemingly effortless ease. We found these two along with any other of the Snow Crazy staff we came into contact with had a genuine service ethic. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Whilst there was no fresh snow, the piste’s were well maintained and we enjoyed good piste skiing throughout La Rosiere & La Thuile. However I understand that La Rosiere has excellent off piste opportunity, so we have just booked Le Chocard again with a special request for fresh powder on the mountain & Jamie & Jenny to be our hosts in the chalet.

I´d like to say a massive thanks to you, Mike & the rest of the snow crazy crew. We had a great week. Ive been boarding now for 12 years and last week is easily up there with the best holidays, Jamie & Jenny we´re the perfect hosts & couldn´t of been more accommodating. Fiona is a brilliant guide and took us to some really nice restaurants & Chris helped me out too. You´ve got a greta set up going on.
Billy Edwards, Chalet Chocard, Jan 11

We had a great week at Eagles Nest. Paul, Lorraine, Kylie and Annie looked after us brilliantly and Paul volunteering to come get us from Jimmy´s in Vallandry was priceless! The chalet itself was great, comfortable, warm and the hot tub was a very nice feature. All the meals were very nice and the local wines were really good and so much better than the usual chalet vinegar!
Peter Robinson, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

“good chalet in nice position”

We have recently returned from a week in La Rosiere staying in Chalet Chocard, run by Snowcrazy. It is well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub was a real treat. The ski bus (free) runs frequently from just outside the chalet, although in the mornings we were transported by minibus up to the slopes, so used the bus more on the way home.....the ski guiding was great, enabling us to get to know the slopes and the resort much faster than we might otherwise have.
Posted on Trip Advisor Stayed January 2011, travelled with family

Hi Laura, A quick note to say many thanks for the great week we all had with Snowcrazy, the team were fabulous and really looked after us. The help and guidance you provided before the trip was excellent and covered every eventually so all we had to do was arrive and enjoy. Having the ski passes and equipment brought to the Chalet made it an easy and stress free start to the holiday. Please pass on our appreciation to Jen & Jamie for the great service and high quality food especially the “Goats Cheese” and the nannies for looking after the kids so brilliantly and supervising their homework. A particular note of thanks to Fiona for the very very early morning run back to the airport and for putting up with my snoring on the front seat. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon. Best regards.
Lee Lawrence, Chalet Chocard, Jan 11

Hi there. I have just returned to the UK after a great week staying at Eagles Nest in Les Arcs. The hospitality shown by Paul, Lorraine Annie and Kylie was second to none. We were fed well and well looked after. It is probably one of the best ski holidays I have ever had and was made to feel so welcome. I am looking forward to booking again in the future. Thanks once again.
Duncan Small, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

Hi Laura, settled back in Bridwater and trying to get used to only one course for tea, dissapointed that the wife refuses to provide Champagne and canepe´s but I guess I´ll have to slum it ´til next year! I just wanted to say thankyou for all your help in organising our trip, its never easy when its 20 blokes but your advice and support throughout were invaluable. I also want to praise the staff at the Chalet Marigold, Claire, Tom, Kirsty and Chris were fantastic from start to finish and after many conversations around the bar our only regret is that we spent so many seasons self catering before giving the Chalet holiday a try. Food was superb, Ski hosting was brilliant, and the relaxed evenings and banter with the staff really made the holiday. There really wasn´t a negative point to raise with you from the whole week. We had been a little worried that Ste Foy may have been a little too small a resort for us, but the three away days and the empty slopes when we were there, meant that this was never an issue. The other concern was the lack of night life in the town, but again, with help from Tom and the odd bottle of Genepi, this was never a problem. In fact, as our group is made up of three or four sub-groups, we found that we got to know each other far better in one week than the previous four seasons. Hot tubs, sauna´s and your ski´s fitted whilst enjoying a beer, what more could you ask?! Thanks again to you, Mike and the Chalet team for a wonderful holiday.
Mark Langston, Chalet Marigold, Jan 11

Hi Mike and Laura. Just a quick note to say that we had a really fantastic week at Chalet Marigold. Whilst last year was also good this year surpassed our expectations, possibly because there were a team of 5 and not 4 as last year. The chalet was always spotlessly clean and tidy and the whole place seemed to run a lot better. Food was delicious with Kirsty and Chris being extremely able and good company. Claire is an absolute gem, so organised and efficient in everything she does. She is equally complimented by the lovely Tom who is charming, quick witted and very attentive, in fact the perfect host. Our rooms were kept immaculate by Jamie. Additionally he too was very kind and attentive to our needs, nothing was too much trouble for him to do for any guest at any time. The icing on the cake was quite literally the surprise birthday cake that Kirsty and Chris made for Clive along with the Champagne (it was presented after dinner on Clive’s birthday.) It was a great surprise and all very much appreciated. We absolutely love Ste Foy and can not wait to return with you again, our only dilemma is whether to try La Rosiere or to stick with Ste Foy with the sublime empty slopes, the beautiful chalet and of course the convenience of being able to virtually ski to the door. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
Jill & Clive Mounce, Cahlet Marigold, Jan 11

Thanks for a great week Paul Lorraine & Co, hospitality was great, a fine balance of being treated as a client and friend. Hope we meet again.
Peter and Fran Chandler, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

Paul, Lorraine and Annie, Thank you sooooooo much for a fantastic week. The chalet was amazing as was the food and you guys have been absolutley brilliant. This first skiing trip has definately been one to remember, I will be back for sure. Thankyou for everything. I have been thoroughly spoilt. Much Love.
Nehal, Chalet Eagle´s Nest Jan 11

Thanks for a great time, your hosting has been amazing and certainly the best I have exerienced. You all have gone ´all out´ to give us the best experience possible - even forcing me to dance on tables with a transvestite! Food was excellent. All the best for the season.
Neal, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

What a fantastic week! Thank you so much for being amazing hosts & making the week so fabulous. Lorraine the food has been amazing, Paul the evening banter has been hilarious and Annie, what can we say about the fancy dress night at Gregs?!! Amazing week.
Niki, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality, amazing food, wine, cheese and helping me with my boots every morning!! Thanks for making my first ever ski holiday so memorable.
Payal, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

What a holiday! You have spolit us rotten. We´ve had a fantastic week, and feel so looked after. You´ve taken care of everything for us, and I love the little extras (espacially cheese port and canapes). you´ve raised the standard of the ´snow holiday´. Hope to see you again - enjoy the rest of the season. Lots of Love.
Helen Marshall, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

I would like to say a very big ´thank you´ to Paul and Lorraine for being such excellent hosts.
Gordon McLaren, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

Hi Laura, Just to say thanks for a fanastic holiday. It certainly was the best we have had so far, particularly when it came to the children. I would be grateful if you could convey this thanks to Damien, Rachel, Ben, Chris, Fiona & Emma. They made us fell very welcome and that nothing was too much extra. The kids truly had a great time. Hopefully we will see you next year.
Ronan O´Hare, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 11

What fantastic hosts you have with Paul, Lorraine, Kylie and Annie. They made us all feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Paul´s ski hosting was excellent in the way he guided us round the slopes to maximise our experience of the ski areas and at the same time tailored it to all our skiing abilities. His advise about the slopes was also very useful when we where not been hosted. Lorraine´s cooking was great, and something to look forward to when relaxing in the hot tub after a hard days skiing! I think I speak for us all in saying that the chalet and its facilities where spot on. It would be great to book one of your chalets again and certainly something we would consider for next year. Thank you and your hosts again for a great holiday.
Julian Malton, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 11

During our stay there was nothing that was too much trouble for Steve and the whole team, they really worked hard to make our stay special. Dwayne´s cooking is outstanding and Rachel was informed, efficient and positive (quite a challenge with some of our party at times). All the staff had a great outlook and certainly knew how to look after us. Mont D´Or was a great chalet. Once again a great holiday! Thank you so much.
Diane and David Taylor, Chalet Mont d´Or, Jan 11

I stayed in Chalet Chantelauze this past week and just wanted to thank you for a few things. Firstly, hooking me up with the right people to get the lessons (I think I called you late on the Saturday 8th!) the course was fantastic (and definitely needed). Secondly, and more imortantly, for what an amazing job Damien, Rachel and Emma did - honestly they couldn´t of done any better or worked any harder for us, the food was fantastic and as I said the three of them were truly immense for us all week, picking up our boards mid-afternoon and just making sure everything was perfect. Again, just many thanks for what was an amazing trip. All the best and hopefully see you next year (or possibly before the season ends this year!).
Mark Rutter, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 11

We had the most fabulous week and the guys really looked after us. Dwyanne is an amazing chef and I think I have put on at least a stone from all the Cheese. It’s 4pm, so right about now we’d be making our way to Rond Point for a few vin chauds rather than reviewing an excel spreadsheet, hence my next question. Do you do short breaks for any of your chalets? I think some of us may be quiet tempted by a cheeky weekend on the slopes in March. Thanks.
Sheena Sudra, Chalet Mont d´Or, Jan 11

Thank you so much for a fabulous week in La Rosiere. Prior to last week I hadn´t skied in 12 years, but now I can barely wait 12 months to go again. The small problem being now I will expect every ski trip to be like the one we had at Chalet Chantelauze. The dream team of Emma, Rachel and Damian were superb in looking after us and went well beyond the call of duty in making us feel welcome both in the chalet and the local bar! They were truly a credit to Snow Crazy and I think it speaks volumes that after less than 3 days of being back in the country we´re all talking about coming back next year. Perfection.
Guy Edwards, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 11

Just wanted to drop a note to say what a fantastic time we had as a family in Chalet Mont d´Or. Rachel & Dwaynne were amazing host´s, the food was wonderful. They both worked extremely hard to make our holiday as comfortably and stress free as possible. Steve and Simon were great host´s also and we had many laugh´s when they joined us on the slope´s! All in all a fantastic holiday. :-)
Sarah Izzard, Chalet Mont d´Or, Jan 11

Dear Laura, Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday last week! We all enjoyed ourselves so much and were extremely impressed with the wonderful service that snow crazy provides. We could not have asked for more professional, helpful and fun chalet hosts than Rachel and Damien. The resort was perfect for all levels of skiing ability, and weren’t we lucky with the weather!?
Ruth Elder, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 11

..our thanks for giving us such a fantastic Christmas week. It was absolutely brilliant in every way. We were just completely spoilt rotten by every single person involved. Maurice and Sebastian, the squirrels, were a highlight I must admit. Our room was spectacular. We also really enjoyed the Christmas Party which was great fun and just felt like we were with family and friends. I hope everyone is OK and enjoying the season. We do miss our friends at Snow Crazy but well as you know we are coming out again soon to a different chalet.....Thanks so much again and bye for now.
Judith Duguid, Chalet Chantelauze, Dec 10

Dear Laura. I just wanted to thank you, Mike, Paul and Lorraine for the wonderful time Andy & I had at the Eagle´s Nest Chalet this New Year. The chalet is beautiful and Paul and Lorraine were such kind, friendly, well-organised hosts. The two days when Paul took us skiing were ideal for seeing more of Les Arcs & exploring La Plagne. Lorraine´s cooking was fabulous, and any good intentions I had had of eating & drinking with moderation were blown away! Kylie & Annie were another happy element in the chalet, always helpful & friendly. We were lucky to find a company that could accommodate our Thursday to Tuesday holiday dates, and then we were lucky again to enjoy four days of glorious sunshine. I´m looking forward to more holidays with Snow Crazy in the future. Many thanks, Best wishes
Vicky Fathers, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Dec 10

We had a fantastic holiday. In the chalet the food was brilliant and we had a fun time with Paul and Lorraine hosting in La Plagne. Thank you so much and hope to be back soon and the vote was 5 star.
Ben, Craig, Louise and Katy, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Dec 10

Thank you so much for skiing with us Paul and the georgeous food Lorraine and the hot tub was so nice and the steam room was so nice as well. I will miss you all I have to say I will miss Paul the most. P.S. I love the food and skiing.
Felicity aged 10, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Dec 10

There´s little Emma, who may be petite, but looked like a pro in the van´s driving seat..we thank you. Then there was John who we first met in a bar. We knew that you´d be a seasonnaire star! Our free spirit Sue, who always made Lazy Bill a brew...thanks for all your wonderful food. Last but not least, the girl that always keeps her head on the piste - our lovely Fiona, thanks for keeping us safe.
The Purbrick Group, Chalet Chocard, Dec 10

Thank you for a wonderful holiday! Perfect!

The Horgan Family, Chalet Chocard, Dec 10

We had a great holiday! We chose a good week with excellent snow and great weather! Claire and Tom worked hard to keep us all happy and ran the chalet very efficiently.
Sam Oliphant, Chalet Marigold, Dec 10

Thank you for a great week in La Rosiere. The food has been outstanding all week, breakfast has always been ready on time and plentiful. Damien has a very calm nature and is attentive with all the guest´s requests. Menu choices for dinner suited everybody and were complimented by lovely wine. Dinner was served at a comfortable pace and with wonderful service. The team of Damien and Rachel works exceptionally well, they demonstrate real teamwork and support each in other in delivering exceptional service. Rachel has a constant smile on her face which combined with good eye contact is very reassuring. She has strong listening skills and has a real eye for detail, an absolute delight to spend time with. Both went way beyond my expectations, Rachel and Damien met us on the slopes and had lunch with us on a couple of occasions and genuinely seemed to enjoy our company. They helped my son who is new to snow boarding with hints and lots of positive language. The ski hosting delivered by Magda was perfect, the choice of runs matched our ability well and she worked hard to ensure everybody was having a fantastic holiday. She is incredibly helpful and tailors her day around our needs. Again Magda happily spent time with us on her day off and hit the slopes as a fellow skier. All 3 work in collaboration and obviously gel socially which results in a great working relationship. They are conscientious and take pride in what they do. Every member of your team was positive and helpful, for me Damien, Magda and Rachel were in a class above and made our holiday one to remember. A superb demonstration of behaviours any company would be proud of. Kind regards.
Vici Browning, Chalet Chantelauze, Dec 10

Hi Laura, just wanted to say thank you for our stay this week. We really enjoyed it. The chalet is beautiful. The hosts were great and the food fantastic. Dwayne is a great asset. We would like to reserve same week for next year if possible? Regards.
Kim Kampel, Chalet Mont d´Or, Dec 10

Dear Lorraine, Paul, Annie and Kylie. Thank you for making our annual ski programme the best ever. Wishing you the very best for the forthcoming season.
Declan & Jane Faughnan, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Dec 10

Winter Season 2009-2010...

I wanted to say thanks for our stay - we really enjoyed the chalet - I also wanted to ask you to pass on our thanks to Paul, Lorraine and Steve. I have never had such accurate weather forecasting, or such good knowledge of conditions and the slopes - it made a big difference to our stay - Paul steered us well in our daily route planning. The food was delicious, Paul and Lorraine were excellent hosts and overall our experience was very very good. We had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, please pass on our thanks to the team.
Katie Maitland, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Apr 10

Dear Laura. Last year I ventured onto my first ski vacation for 10 years to your Chalet Marigold in Sainte Foy. Paul, Lorraine and Steve really made the holiday for me. I was so impressed by their calm yet so friendly, helpful and superbly capable manner in everything we asked for. Needless to say, my skiing did not improve after their amazing culinary skills and wine cellar management! Laying on a beach in July last year I received a message asking whether I wanted to participate in another ski holiday in March 2010. Agreeing to go skiing whilst lapping up the sunshine and perhaps being a little too hot seemed appealing so I immediately agreed to go (probably the wine with lunch that convinced me!). I knew absolutely nothing about the resort or chalet - just that it was another SnowCrazy vacation. Now since my skiing is by no means ´brilliant´ I decided this was the ´make or break´ ski holiday. I did not really even bother to check it out until a few weeks prior to our visit. The Chalet looked fab, it would be good to see my fellow skiers again (even though they are so much better than me) and I knew Snowcrazy would look after us. What an absolutely wonderful surprise to find Steve met us from the airport - in his usual patient, reassuringly yet quietly in control, friendly, helpful and smiley way. We were all delighted to see him and to receive such a lovely welcome. We then heard that Paul, Lorraine and Steve were running our Chalet. It was such a delight - it felt like we were returning home to our friends. They gave us a fantastic welcome and the accommodation was amazingly clean and immaculate. The superb culinary and wine cellar skills shone through again throughout the whole week and generally they made the holiday what a tremendous success it proved to be. I cannot thank them enough for making our holiday so absolutely fantastic. The only slight negative of the whole week was the temperature - and there is no way on earth we can blame this on them! Having said this, the sun shone and 95% of the time it was perfect ski weather.

I would like you to pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Eagles Nest Team. They are fantastic and I hope they remain with you for years. Do please let me know which Chalet they may be at next year. I did say this was my ´make or break´ holiday and it certainly was a ´make´. I will be back! Thanks so much for making this holiday possible. Best wishes.
Sue Rout, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 10

Hi Laura, Just to say I had a most memorable stay in Les Arcs on "Paddy´s Week". Beautiful Chalet, beautiful food, and Lorraine Paul and Steve could not have been better. Many Thanks.
Peggy Stringer, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 10

Dear Laura and Mike, Just a short note to thank you for another fabulous holiday with Snow Crazy. We all had a great time and genuinally haven´t laughed so much for ages. It was a bonus to have such a friendly and excellent chef in Denam and just a nice all round guy to boot. Please pass on my thanks to him. Whenever we bumped in to any of your other staff they couldn’t of been friendlier which again just makes the holiday a bit more special. I think I have personally found the perfect week and with all things being equal will book up again next year but will try a different chalet if possible. Thank you again and speak soon.
Julien Hubbard, Chalet Chocard, Mar 10

Dear Laura, I need to let you know what a fabulous time we had last week at Eagle´s Nest. Paul, Lorraine and Steve were outstanding hosts, cooks, ski guides; you name it. It seemed like the answer to every question was always ´yes´ or ´no problem´. I´m ready to come back to whatever Chalet they run. Highest compliments to Snowcrazy and your staff! Yours most satisfied
Mike Doyle, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 10

Dear Mike and Laura, This was our third holiday with you in less than 15 months and I have a complaint to make; I am beginning to run out of superlatives to describe the experience. Lorraine, Paul and Steve give exceptional performances on how to make a week in the mountains perfect. They greet us, look after us and wave us goodbye with charm, sincerity and exceptional good humor as well being the consummate ski guides and hosts. At the risk of damaging your viral marketing campaign, I am only going to tell people I REALLY like Snowcrazy and your team in particular. If the Song Remains the Same, and I am sure it will, I can assure you we´ll be Bach for more. Regards.
Michael, Therese, Peter and Hannah, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Mar 10

Dear Mike & Laura. Just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you to you and all the SnowCrazy team in Sainte Foy for a fantastic week last week. Chalet Marigold was wonderful and the team there Elena, Steve, Claire & Steve (2) were fantastic. We were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable and the food cooked for us each day and Elena’s cakes were fabulous. The team were always on hand for any information or help that we needed and the ski safari days were excellent. We didn´t have the best start to our holiday with our flight being diverted, but we have to say a big thank you to you and all the team in Chalet Marigold for going out of your way and everything you did for us on that transfer day. A superb holiday and highly recommended.
Judith & Darren Randall, Chalet Marigold, Mar 10

Firstly thanks for a really good holiday---despite the accident it was still enjoyable. The staff being more mature and more dedicated than many chalets made a difference –we have done more than 30 chalet holidays. The ski guiding by Steve(s) was outstanding.
Paul and Judith Jackson, Chalet Marigold, Feb 10

Sorry for slow thank you´s...but just wanted to thank you again for a great week. We really enjoyed it, food was great and just a really nice relaxed atmosphere. A good break for our working men and for us very hard working but a bit bored with wiltshire life mothers.
The Flann´s and Glover´s, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 10

Hi Mike, just an email to say a big thank you for a fabulous holiday last week in Chalet Chantelauze! The chalet was amazing and it´s the best chalet i´ve ever stayed in. The food was out of this world. All the lads were great and really looked after us well. Ski hosting was great to as never had that before in any chalet. I would recommend the Snowcrazy chalet to other people to. Thank you once again.
Sarah Mcloughlin, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 10

Just a big thank you from all off us for a fantastic ski holiday during January 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed it and is one of the highlight of the year. You all are such fantastic hosts and all your efforts was well appreciated! Paul, Lorraine and Steve thank you! We could recommed this ski chalet to anyone! A definete must! We will be back! Greetings from us all!
Karien Loots, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Feb 10

We returned from Chalet Marigold last Sunday (28th Feb)...and having just read the other guest comments, would like to echo absolutely those of Tim Hill (Jan 10th). Everything was superb and so enjoyable! A big THANK YOU, we hope to come again!
Sheena Read, Chalet Marigold, Feb 10

This was our second year in Chalet Chantelauze and we were delighted once again. Tony, Murray and Chris were a fantastic team keeping the chalet and the buses running and delivering a superb 5 course meal every night. They were very friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. The chalet is stunning and very spacious so the children can just go off and play leaving the parents to have an apres ski snooze. Ski hire is kept in the basement so no trudging to the crowded ski shop. We would definitely recommend Snowcrazy for a luxury, hassle-free skiing holiday.
Helen Laws, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 10

I just wanted to say that we had an absolutely amazing time in the chalet last week. I´ve been on alot of ski holidays and I can honestly say that this was the best by far. The hospitality and luxury of the chalet along with the fantastic staff, Tony, Murray and Chris made the holiday unforgetable. They are a real asset to the company.
Gill White, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 10

I just wanted to say that you and your team are all great; I had such a fantastic time in Chantelauze last week!! I´ll definitely be seeing you again next year :-)
David Webster, Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 10

Dear Laura and Mike. Just a quick email to thank you for a wonderful holiday at La Rosiere in Chalet Chocard. Yes the snow was wonderful and the company fantastic but what really made our week was the absolute lack of any stress from being picked up at Chambery to being delivered back to the airport at the end of the week. Everyone was wonderful – the chalet was beautiful, the food lovely with flexibility for our children to eat early or with us. We loved La Rosiere but the service you provided took our holiday from good to great.
Alison and Adrian Millman, Chalet Chocard, Feb 10

Dear Paul, Lorraine and Steve, Thankyou for hosting us on a wonderful holiday. The cooking was delicious and the hospitality great. It was a memeorable holiday. All the best for the rest of the season.
Alan & Heidi Wrigglesworth, Chalet Eagles Nest, Feb 10

We had a wonderful holiday and both the chalet and the resort were excellent so a big thank you to you and your team. I can’t decide whether to recommend Sainte Foy to friends or say nothing and keep it as our little secret!!
Mark Wiseman, Chalet Marigold, Jan 10

I would like to thank you, Paul, Lorriane and Steve for a fanatastic holiday. It was truly the best ski holiday ever. The facilities were fantastic and the service impecable. Paul, Lorraine and Steve are real gems.
Peter Barbic, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 10

I would just like to say what a superb week Sandra and I had, many thanks to Steve, Helena, Steve and Claire. The accommodation and the hospitality was excellent.
Doreen Coyle, Chalet Marigold, Jan 10

Thanks for an awesome week in the Eagle´s Nest chalet. We had so much fun. The food was superb, the chalet was 5 star, clean and well managed.
Anina Botha, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Jan 10

“Christmas in La Rosiere”

We have never skied in La Rosiere before and booked Chalet Chocard with Snowcrazy. We shared with a family we had never met before and we had a great time. The chalet is 5 minutes from the slopes by minibus with the public bus stop right outside. However, the ski hosts were most accommodating and ran us to and fro and whenever I did wait at the public bus stop a Snowcrazy minibus would appear as if by magic. The chalet has a hot tub (with fab views) and a steam room. There are bedrooms on the ground floor, with the boot room, a bedroom on the middle floor along with the lounge and kitchen, and two upstairs. The food was great, of a very high quality, we had breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. We ended spending a lot less than we have previously. The chalet hosts were not fazed by anything and were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail is fantastic. You get your boots fitted in the chalet and lift passes bought for you. All the staff seem lovely, they have other chalets in the resort. La Rosiere isn´t a huge ski area and we were a bit disappointed by La thuile when we eventually got there but the weather wasn´t great so I would like to give it another go. But we never seemed to queue. My son had a snowboard lesson and the ski instructor was a lot better than previous ESF instructors we have had. The guy who runs the ski school came to the chalet and chatted to us which was a nice touch. People went on about all the drag lifts in la Ros before we went, but there were certainly no more than other resorts, apart from the super long one to la Thuile. Overall, one of our best Christmases and ski holidays combined! Posted on Trip Advisor, Reviewed 3 January 2010

Dear Mike & Laura, Just a quick note to thank you and all the SnowCrazy team in Sainte Foy for a fantastic week last week. Chalet Marigold is superb - wonderfully appointed, spacious, clean and warm. The welcome from the team there – Elena, Steve, Claire & Colin (sorry Steve 2) is as warm as the chalet. The guys and girls were always friendly and on hand to help with any issues that we had. The food was fantastic – Elena really is a great chef and, once again, our vegetarians were treated to thoughtful and tasty meals. The team in St Foy are a credit to your organisation and the “ethics and values” of your company. Thank the guys and girls again on our behalf for joining in the Timmy Tour fun – SnowCrazy winning the hat on 3 of the 6 nights shows the level on integration we all achieved and the laughs we shared. Take care both of you and enjoy the rest of the season.
Tim Hill, Timmy Tours, Chalet Marigold, Jan 10

Hi Laura, I just wanted to say thank you to you, Mike and all the guys in the chalet for a fantastic week last week. I can honestly say that I felt more looked after than I’ve ever felt on a holiday and it made all the difference. Hopefully we’ll be able to make it back over some time soon but in the meantime I’m recommending you to all my pals. Thank you very much and best wishes for the future of Snowcrazy.
Sue Robertson, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 10

You have a wonderful chalet and the boys - Chris, Tony and Murray work like a well-oiled machine! David and I had a fabulous week, great accomodation, great weather, superb hosts and delicious food! We will be back.
Lesley & David, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 10

On behalf of Simon and myself – can I say a huge thank you to you & Mike for all your hard work in making our holiday seamless and so relaxing and enjoyable. We really did appreciate all the running around and pandering to our needs. The chalet was a delight, the staff, (particularly Elena) were great and Ste Foy is indeed a gem in the crown of the Haute Savoie region!
Andy Kress, Chalet Marigold, Jan 10

Mike and Laura, Fantastic chalet! Everyone couldn´t have been more welcoming and attentive. The accomodation and food was really great. The boys are such a great extension of the personality and values of Snowcrazy. Brilliant snow, brilliant everything!
Dana & Sue, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 10

Thank you all for a fantastic holiday! Couldn´t believe how organised, kind an accomodating you all are and just a lovely bunch of people.
Ben & Louise, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 10

Tom and I had a great time in Ste. Foy last week. As with our holiday to La Rosiere last year, we really enjoyed the Snowcrazy experience! We were very pleasantly surprised by the Ste. Foy ski area. We hadn´t expected it to be as extensive as it was and really enjoyed all of the runs, which were quiet, long and scenic. This was topped off by great snow and beautiful weather - perfect! We also had a fantastic time on the Ski Safari days to Val d´Isere/Tignes and Les Arcs with Mike, so thank you again from us. The Chalet Hosts, Elena and Steve were lovely and looked after us very well; we just have to work off Elena´s afternoon cakes now!
Tom and Alex Meir, Chalet Marigold, Jan 10

Just wanted to let you know we had a great time last week. We were so well looked after and I think everyone went well beyond what was required to make sure we had a good time. The Chantelauze team are great and hope you´ll pass on this thanks to them.
Mandy & Mark, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 10

We just wanted to say thank you for making our skiing holiday in Chocard such a memorable one. Shelagh and Richard gave us fantastic food every night and the atmosphere in the chalet was lovely. Steve was endlessly good humoured, and the rest of the Snowcrazy staff seem equally as efficient and amenable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Definitely one of nicest Christmases. The standard of service all round was exemplary, and we are all keen to return again. It was so nice not to have to queue in the hire shop or the lift pass office. We thought the holiday was good value for money!
The Bilton Family, Chalet Chocard, Christmas week 09

Thanks very much for everything. We had a wonderful time and very much hope to repeat soon. Paul, Lorraine and Steve make a wonderful team. We were looked after superbly and could not have hoped for more delightful company during the week. With best wishes from Sue and me,
Tony, Chalet Eagle´s Nest, Christmas week 09

Winter Season 2008-2009...

Just a very short note to compliment the team that took care of us this week. Nothing more to say than they were outstanding. A true credit to any organisation and I had commented to Jackie on the flight home about the advantages of a more mature team in charge. They must be congratulated individually as they made our stay a most enjoyable trip. We have as a family not shared a chalet before, my only experience has been with the "boys." As you can well imagine, a family holiday is a truly different challenge! There was much chat around the table and on the slopes about your new propertry in Les Arcs and lets just say, that given our experience this week, should dates allow then I would hope to meet the team again in 2010. Our sincere regards, thanks and best wishes to Lorraine, Paul, Steve and Crazy John! The A Team. They must surely look forward to the end of season parties and the challenge of summer away from the beauty of Sainte Foy.
Ally, Jackie, Hannah and Megan Caw, Chalet Marigold, April 09

After such a fabulous week at Chalet Marigold, we´ve all taken quite a few days to get back to reality...! You may read that Sainte Foy is described as ´The Jewel in the Crown´ but the real gems are Paul, Lorraine, John and Steve!!! Please, please pass on our thanks to Team Marigold for making our stay so comfortable, fun and for thoroughly spoiling us! We were made so welcome..., we were made to feel as if the Chalet was our own and nothing was too much trouble. Our week could not have been better - a beautiful resort, great novice skiing as well as plenty more challenging pistes..., fantastic food and wine all week, discreet courteous service, spotless chalet, glorious sunshine, much needed hot tub and made some great new friends! We´ve certainly all come back very refreshed and looking much healthier with glowing suntans - long may it last! Thanks to everyone for helping to make our family holiday such a great success and we would never hesitate to recommend a Snowcrazy Chalet experience to all our friends and family! With very best wishes to you all!
Sue, Kevin, Anna and Ed Byass, Chalet Marigold, April 09

Just to say thanks for yet another fantastic holiday. Loved Chalet Chantelauze..... The Jacuzzi bath and the garden swing on the balcony was a perfect sun trap in the late afternoon and the views spectacular. Tony and Lisa were great chalet hosts and the food wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and Chris was fantastic with our own private transfer to the slopes every day. The ski fitting service couldn’t have been easier…sat comfy in the lounge whilst sipping champagne! Need I say more other than thank you Mike for a great day ski hosting in Italy and for help improving Lydia’s skiing where others have failed!! We had a brilliant time with a great bunch of people and hope to return again some day.
Tracy, Christopher and Lydia Jones from Nottingham, Chalet Chantelauze, April 09

Ode to Chalet Renard
There once was a chalet host called Murray
Who never did things in a hurry
His cooking was fine
He ensured plenty of wine
Great dinner on time - no worry!

Jason was Murray´s good mate
Who ensured the ski-bus was never late
He loaded our skis
He was the bee´s knee´s
And kept Murray on the narrow and straight!

The hot tub at Chalet Renard
Best view in the Haute Savoyarde
After a day on the slopes
It massaged our ropes
And ensured our legs were not hard!

This week´s guests included Ali & Steve
Who came from Kent from work for a reprieve
The snow and the sun
We had such great fun
And now we don´t want to leave!

Ali and Steve, Chalet Renard, March 2009

Just a quick note to thank you and your team for a super holiday. Chris, Tony and Lisa were all great and fantastic with the children which made it even better for us. Food was superb and the chalet was spot on. It really was a special holiday so please pass our thanks onto everyone for us.
Joanne Flann, Chalet Chantelauze, March 09

Finally got round to dropping you an email to thank you for another wonderful holiday with Snowcrazy. I would like to re-iterate all the positive comments you have already received about your Team at Chalet Marigold. Loved the chalet, wonderful location, great snow conditions during our stay, which all attributed to a fantastic time. But it´s the team you have there that is the icing on the cake. Providing everyone with great food, good service, everything we needed to relax and enjoy our holiday.
Alison Pope, Chalet Marigold, March 09

I have been meaning to write to you every since our wonderful holiday in Ste Foy back in March. Obviously it has taken over a month for me to reconcile myself to The Real World... a World in which I have to make my own porridge in the morning - as well as make my own bed, where there is no cake for tea, where nobody lights a roaring log fire when the sun goes down and there is no sparkling glass of kir every evening before a fabulous 4-course, candle-lit dinner. This Real World also lacks metre-deep dumps of the finest powder snow, empty pistes and leisurely lunches on a sunny terrace with a fine view of the mountains - and it is far too busy and crowded. Please thank Lorraine for producing such well-planned and truly scrumptious dairy-free meals for me (I had a totally migraine-free week), Paul for his great hospitality, John for some of the best skiing days Alastair and I have had for many a year and Steve for all his behind-the-scenes hard work. They are a great team.
Suzy Kilgour, Chalet Marigold, March 09

Hi Laura and Mike, just to let you know that we had a fab week at the resort last week. The weather was great, the chalet lovely and the food absolutely gorgeous! We were really lucky to have some nice people to share the chalet with. The hosts did everything to make our stay an enjoyable one and Greg and I can´t wait until the new year to come back!!
Julie, Lucy and Greg Taylor, Chalet Chantelauze, March 09

I just wanted to say a huge well done to the team there – Paul and Lorraine were the best hosts ever, Steve was caring organized and watchful to make sure everything went well – the strong silent type and John was great fun a super all rounder and great ski host. If you had them together as a team again – I would definitely recommend them to the world! And I would come back again for sure.
Angie Court, Chalet Marigold, March 09

If I was someone who recommends chalets I would vote this one 5 stars. Murray´s cooking is legend. It brakes my heart that I have to go but then again I miss my mum.
Finley, Chalet Renard, March 09

Thank you for such a great holiday - Paul, Lorraine, John and Steve were absolutely brilliant during the whole week - They managed to strike a perfect balance between genuine warmth and friendliness and outstanding service - it was a real honour to spend time with them at the chalet. On top of that, we were blessed with the best snowfall in years! The chalet was also so much more up and together compared to previous years, and that made a big difference.
Dan Delor, Chalet Marigold, Feb 09

Just a quick note to say ´thanks´ for helping us to plan our holiday at Chalet Belleface. We were delighted with the apartment and had a fab week. We will certainly consider Belleface again and will happily recommend you to friends.
Tony Stanton, Chalet Belleface, Feb 09

Absolutely brilliant time here. Everything´s been brilliant. From the hot tub to the cakes to the skiing to the chilling back at the chalet, I´ve loved it here! Chalet hosts were superb. The skiing runs in La Rosiere are brilliant and so much more challenging than previous holidays. This is the third time I´ve been skiing and it has been by far the best holiday ever.
Callum, Chalet Renard, Feb 09

Laura- just a quick line to say what a great time we had and how well we were looked after by Paul, Lorraine, John and Steve - real assets and a credit to your company. I understand Paul and Lorraine may be working for you next season and we look forward to finding out at which resort/chalet as we would be interested in booking with you again!
Ian Ward, Chalet Marigold, Feb 09

Hi Laura, Mike, Tony, Lisa, Chris and Ryan. Just wanted to say a huge thank you for our wonderful holiday at Chalet Chantelauze last week! We really were delighted. As you know it was our first skiing holiday with Lucy and George...and it was a real dilemma initially finding the right company to look after all our needs - and you surpassed expectation! We knew if the kids were happy we´d be happy and you helped make this happen. Thanks Laura for all the ´tooing and froing´ between ski school and activity club to ensure everything was smoothly negotiated for L and G - they were more than happy and definitely did not want to come home! Tony and Lisa - thanks for the really excellent hospitality (especially the chocolate stuff!) and your sensitive attention of the kids! Chris thanks for all the transfers and patience whilst getting all four of us out of the door in a morning - you really did seem to be at our beck and call and made not staying in a ski in/out chalet really very easy! Ryan - great skis and wonderful hot tub - thank you! Mike - thanks for the jokes!!!! Hopefully you´ll all have a fab´ rest of the season and we may see you next year!? Or again this year if Trev gets his way! Love to all.
Donna, Trevor, Lucy and George (Fuller), Chalet Chantelauze, Feb 09

The food was great, the hot tub was great, the transport to and from the slopes was great, basically it was all great!!!
Alex, Chalet Renard, Feb 009

This has been the most enjoyable skiing holiday so far in my life. Thanks.
Ella, Chalet Renard, Feb 09

Hi Laura, we´ve been back for a week now.... but still great memories of a fab few days in Chalet Marigold. On behalf of the 6 of us that were in Chalet Marigold, I just wanted to say how good Paul, Lorraine, John & Steve were.... they really looked after us without making a fuss..... we all enjoyed their company too ....
Matthew Brearly, Chalet Marigold, Feb 09

Dear Paul & Lorraine. We had a fabulous time with you. Thank you so much for all your hard work which was greatly appreciated. Delicious and imaginative food, warm atmosphere and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our thanks to John and Steve for great guiding. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay, but particularly with you at Marigold.
Mark & Kate Ransom, Chalet Marigold, Jan 09

Thank you so much for making our ski trip full of happy memories. Really enjoyed the excellent food, brilliant ski hosting service and general banter around the chalet. You´ve been very patient with our children and we´ve appreciated the little things like loading our skis on the bus. ´Be carefoool´ (as they say on the slopes!)
Ruth, Owain & Alys, Chalet Renard, Jan 09

Thank you both for a fantastic holiday. Prior to the holiday we read the descriptions, viewed the pictures on your website and formed an impression. We´d have been fortunate if reality had matched our expectations; amazingly it surpassed them. The food and the company made Chalet Renard truly a home from home. La Rosiere was perfect for 5 people with varying degrees of skiing/snowboarding experience. I´m grateful that you persuaded Alison to come with us to La Thuile; it topped off a spectacular holiday. We´re already talking about a return visit and we´ve only been back a week.
Robin, Alison, Paul, Michele & Wez, Chalet Renard, Jan 09

Hi Laura, Kate and I just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we both enjoyed our week in La Rosiere. The weather, skiing conditions and chalet were great but what really made our stay memorable was the first class service we received from Tony, Lisa, Chris and Ryan. The food was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. They are a credit to Snowcrazy. We look forward to coming back some day.....hopefully soon! Thanks again to you all.
Best wishes, Chris & Kate, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 09

Hi Laura, We had a great week in Chalet Chantelauze last week. Tony and Lisa were both excellent hosts, the evening meals and the cakes were fantastic and the chalet was clean and well-run. Tony and Lisa created a homely, relaxed atmosphere and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Our room (num 7) was the best by far I have ever seen in a ski resort with plenty of space, even for a family of 4 and wide reaching views. There really were copious amounts of hot water to fill the jacuzzi bath! The kids had a wonderful time. They loved the minibus rides, the table football, the kids dinners and the hot tub. ESF did a great job of improving their skiing and La Rosiere had plenty to offer for us as a family. There were no queues and we were lucky enough to have full sun on 4 days. We would not hesitate to book with Snow Crazy again. Many thanks to all the Chalet Chantelauze team for a fun-packed, gastro-feast week and enjoy the rest of the season.
Helen Laws, Chalet Chantelauze 25 Jan - 01 Feb 09

Dear Mike and Laura, I wanted to drop you a mail to tell you what a great holiday we had last week. Paul and Lorraine did a fab job, they coped with Babs vegan diet fantastically - from the culinary point of view, easily the best holiday we have ever enjoyed. Thank you so much for finding out about the wine - the only time Babara has ever been able to enjoy wine with a meal on holiday. John did a great job too, hosting us around the mountains, really considerate - he took the time to check we were always OK. Overall a really great experience - we really hope to see you again next year.
Mark Houghton, Chalet Marigold, Jan 09

We just wanted to write and say what a great week we have just had at Chalet Chantelauze with Snowcrazy. Thanks so much to you - and the ´chalet team´ of Tony, Lisa and Chris - for making it a great holiday - they really did look after us well and were enormous fun. I know I speak for all 7 of us in the party when I say we had a fab holiday and none of us wanted to leave this morning. You´ve got a great team there! With many thanks and best regards,
Dafina Keys, Chalet Chantelauze, Jan 09

Hello Laura and Mike, Just wanted to thank you for giving us all such a great stay at Marigold after New Year. We all had a brilliant week, really just as good as we hoped - place, chalet, food, weather, snow, crowds (lack of), my boots (loved them) etc etc. After waiting so long to ski, it lived up to my expectations and everyone gave it ´our best holiday ever´ rating. We would love to do it again so are saving up! Please pass on our thanks to Paul and Lorraine, Steve and John for fielding and fulfilling our queries and requests so willingly and efficiently and for everything they did to help us enjoy the week so much. And thanks to you for getting us there out of all the other places we might have ended up! Hope we will holiday with you again.
Kathryn Bartlett, Chalet Marigold, Jan 09

Dear Mike and Laura, My partner and I just spent a week in Ste Foy at the Chalet Marigold (28/12 to 04/01). Up to now we had always spent our holidays in hotels. However, after the hospitality of Lorraine and Paul in Marigold, I have become a great fan of the chalet holiday. The food and wine were fantastic and the accommodation was spotless. It seemed to us that there was nothing that Paul, Lorraine, John and Steve wouldn’t do to make our stay a memorable one. We loved the resort. Who would believe that you could get so many days great skiing from just four lifts. Anyway, thanks for one of the best ski holidays ever. You will hear from us again. Best,
Seán and Cesar, Chalet Marigold, Jan 09

Hi Laura, I just wanted to drop you a line to say that we had a great week and that your staff certainly do you proud. Lisa and Tony were excellent hosts, extremely helpful and great cooks. Chris and Roger were also very helpful. Many thanks for a great week.
Claire Lewis, Chalet Chantelauze, Dec 08

Winter Season 2007-2008...

Dear Mike and Laura, I´ve finally got round to dropping you a line to say what a fantastic holiday we had this year in Chalet Chocard (March 30th 1 week). Steve and Jo were amazing chalet hosts and with culinary skills to die for. By far the nicest chalet in 6 years of skiing and far better value and luxury than Esprit in La Rosiere. We would also like to thank Simon for what basically amounted to a fully guided tour of the slopes in white out conditions! A great guy. A wonderful holiday. Hope to come back one day and maybe bring some friends.
Kind regards, Tracy, Christopher and Lydia Jones from Nottingham, Chalet Chocard, April 08

Great conversations, food, lifts up to the slopes and a most wonderful hot tub. You made my whole family feel very welcome on what has been our best skiing holiday by miles.
Chris French, Chalet Chocard, April 08

Thanks also to Simon, France´s greatest Ski Tech...
Anonymous, Chalet Chocard, April 08

A real home from home, you made us all feel like one large family! Excellent accomodation and food with great attention to detail and personal preferences. The resort is wonderful and we shall return!
Chris & Rosemary, Chalet Chocard, April 08

A quick note to thank you very much for an excellent holiday. Julie and Martin were fabulous and the chalet was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the skiing, and we were thrilled that Archie loved it, he is already planning his next trip! Many thanks for your help with lessons, equipment, transfers etc- you really looked after us so well.
Sarah Wimborne, Chalet Renard, April 008

Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you very much for "the best holiday ever" (quote by Sam!!). We all had a fantastic time and wanted to thank you both, plus Julie, Martin, Jo, Steve & Simon. From the moment I first spoke to you Laura, through the transfers to the resort, chalet teams, boots/skis fitting to the transfer back to grenoble yesterday we could not have asked for more and you all went to so much trouble to ensure everything went as well as it possibly could. It was much appreciated by us all. (In fact Caitlin decided she wasn´t coming home and was going to stay and help Julie and when asked if he wanted to go skiing again next year Sam´s reply was only if we go to la Rosiere and stay with Snowcrazy! They are still complaining now about being home and not even the snow which greeted us when we got back has made them happy!!)

Could you also pass our thanks on to the ESF (Franck, Veronique and Cristophe) as the kids and Mum & Dad really enjoyed ski school which made life so much easier for us. The benefits of a Sunday transfer were made really clear on Saturday when Sam & Caitlin had a private lesson with Veronique which ended the week on such a high.

We will be back next year (as will Mum & Dad I think as they had a great time too and enjoyed being back in the mountains). Once again a HUGE thank you, it was great to come home this year with 2 kids who are desperate to ski again!! Kind regards,
Kaz, Simon, Sam & Caitlin, Chalet Renard, April 08

This was our second visit to La Rosiere with Snowcrazy and certainly it won´t be our last. Excellent all round...
The Smith´s, Chalet Chocard, March 008

Snowcrazy gets just about everything right, from the travel arrangements to food requirements. Jo and Steve as first time chalet hosts are the best we´ve experienced in 7 years of chalets. Simon (Break for the Border) is a real gem, Bombardino´s are the business. Don´t tell too many of your mates about Snowcrazy, ´cause it´ll be too difficult to book again.
Nicola & Richard, Chalet Chocard, March 08

Mike, Laura, Keith & Claire, Just a note to say a massive thank you for looking after us all so well last week. We all had a fabulous time. The chalet was superb, the food delicious, and you managed to look after James..no mean feat!!! We thought the resort was fantastic, snow conditions excellent and felt that you couldn’t have done more for us.
Karen Williams, Chalet Chantelauze, March 08

Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful holiday - it exceeded our expectations, especially with three kids in tow! We hope to recruit some friends for a snow crazy holiday next year and will be in touch.
Kat Walters, Chalet Chocard, March 08

Hi Laura and Mike, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Claire, Keith, Michael and of course the both of you for making our holiday and Steve´s birthday so absolutely brilliant. We all really enjoyed ourselves and have even converted Sarah, Paul and kids into enjoying skiing (although I think it did help having wonderful food, a hot tub, a private lift to and from the slopes/creche and a gorgeous luxury chalet!) Despite having 8 children with us, I have to say that everyone agreed it was the most relaxing holiday they have had since having children but I am sure Claire and Keith would not agree! Rather than perhaps a gang of drunken couples, they had to deal with screaming toddlers, mayhem every morning, sickness, chocolate everywhere and bleeding noses. You coped well! Well done - Snowcrazy is a fabulous company, you should be very proud. Thank you.
Alexia Warner, Chalet Chantelauze, February 08

Jo and Steve have worked tirelessly to make ou week at Chalet Chocard simply amazing! The food and wine have been top notch.
Richard, Chalet Chocard, February 08

Had to write to thank you for a fabulous holiday. We had a great time and you made it so easy for us; the organisation was brilliant and everything ran like clockwork from start to finish - even the weather was perfect, and if you told me you´d organised that too I´d believe you.
Anna Price, Self Catering Niverolles, February 08

Thanks for a fantastic stay in La Rosiere, excellent food, company and skiing. Jo, Steve and Michael make the perfect hosts, once again thanks you.
Mary & David Youngs, Chalet Chocard, February 08

Stephen Phillips, Chalet Chocard, February 008

What a great week, I´m converted to skiing. La Rosiere is a hidden gem. Chateaux Renard is a perfectly cosy home. Martin & Julie, thanks for your hospitality and going beyond the call of duty!
Kim & John, Chalet Renard, February 08

We would all like to thank you for a fantastic holiday and compliment you on your professionalism... We all agree that Snow crazy provides an excellent holiday package and service and we will be happy to recommend you in the future.

Yvonne, Chalet Chantelauze, December 07

A truly fabulous week that far exceeded all expectations. Special thanks to Claire and Keith for being such wonderful hosts, we never had to want for anything and I can honestly say I have not eaten so well in ages. To Mike and Laura, you have found a magical spot and may all who pass through the door to Chalet Chantelauze leave feeling as refreshed, rejuvinated and relaxed as we are. Needless to say, we will be back, with a wee one in tow next time!

Winter Season 2006-2007...

Guys, I would just like to say thank you for what was the best catered chalet holiday I have ever had. You looked after our families so well and everyone felt relaxed and at home at Chalet Chantelauze. The “fall in love” bit of your speil isn’t some cheap marketing stunt but a reality. We do appreciate all the hard work and effort that you guys put in – hope your holiday that you have planned brings you the same joy that you give to others.
Andy Kress, Operations Manager, Caprice Holdings (The Ivy restaurant, London) March 2007

Hi Mike, Laura, Jason, Cath and Andy,
Thanks for a lovely wonderfully relaxing holiday - being back in the real world seems particularly hard this year. My daughter Jura says she is missing ´the people who own the chalet´ - which to her is all of you.
Thanks again for such a great trip - too many things to mention in full - the lovely chalet decor (I have fallen in love with Chalet Renard), hot tubs with a stunning view, personal ski guiding, the cheese board and not forgetting the perfect porridge!

Jane Stewart, March 2007

Doug and I had the best week ever so thank you to you and Mike for sharing your time with us. What a great bunch of people we had that week - it really couldn´t have been any better, thank you again.
Dawn Rose, March 2007

Dear Mike, Laura & Jason,
It´s quite an accomplishment to achieve the perfect balance of friendliness, hospitality and outstanding standards but you guys do it so brilliantly. We´ve had the best week´s skiing and it´s going to be very difficult to find another chalet that can equal your standards. Well done and best of luck with all your future projects too! Lots of love,

Jules, March 2007

Fantastic chalet, fabulous food. Definately outshines the best restaurant in town. Comfort and hospitality rivalled by none. Fellow guests now new friends and this turned a good holiday into a great one. Laura, Mike and Jaz, you´ve been amazing. My kids loved it here. Many many thanks.
Ali Costello, March 2007

First of all a big thanks to Mike, Laura, Jason & Tomba, on reflection that is the worst skiing weather we have encountered in our five trips to the Alps. It is testament to your Chalet & service that it was our best holiday to date. Mike’s guiding and insistence on passing on his experience kept us safe even in the worst of conditions. The food in the Chalet was exceptional (another best ever) & the hot tub is something we will now ‘have to have’ each year. Chalet Chantelauze is without doubt the nicest chalet we have stayed in. You also went the extra bit on occasion to accommodate our requests I hope we weren´t too hard work for you! Our fellow Chalet guests deserve a mention who would of thought Scottish, Irish, Martian & English would have hit it off so well. We will plan to come back as we want to Ski the Italian side & get more of the wonderful views we got a brief glimpse of on the one day the Sun came out.
Thanks again & best regards
Sandy Stewart, March 2007

Thank you very much for your warm hospitality and kindness during our stay at La Rosiere. We all really enjoyed it and we can all ski better then when we started. The food was excellent and we loved the hot tub.
Akhtar, Michael & Zara xxx, February 2007

Another fantastic week in La Rosiere. Brilliant sunshine, great snow and the chalet hosts weren´t bad either!! Hope to be back next year to make it into the elusive ´group 3´. ´Till next time...
Claire and Aimee, January 2007

Fantastic hosts. Awesome food, Brilliant skiing. I will be back.
Jeff Cronkshaw, January 2007

I don´t want to go home now. I will miss the hot tub. I will definately be coming back again. Say bye to Tomba. It has probably been the best holiday I have been on. Can´t wait to come back.
Flora Davies (age 10), January 2007

Thank you so much for making this trip such a fantastically memorable holiday. You really have made this holiday for us and the chalet, hospitality and the service you offer are second to none. Best ski holiday I´ve ever been on despite the shortage of snow.

The chalet, service and hospitality you provide are second to none. I have had an excellent week and have every intention of returning for more of the same. Very many thanks,

Thanks for a great time this week! We all appreciate how hard you guys worked in the kitchen and hope to come back on an annual basis.

Winter Season 2005-2006...

If you have ever been subject to tired, poorly produced veggie food with little thought given to presentation, taste and nutrients whilst on a ski holiday as I have been in the past, then book into Mike and Laura´s place in La Rosiere and be prepared to have a taste bud explosion! Every evening I sat down to wonderful food that had been thoughtfully produced and presented using local fresh produce. The Kidney Bean Kievs were a first for me and were absolutely delicious…I begged for the recipe! The Mushroom Rissotto was cooked to perfection and not a stuffed pepper in sight all week! On a previous ski holiday I was given a stuffed pepper 3 times!!! Mike and Laura´s genuine passion for good quality food and relaxed, friendly dining served up with lashings of good quality wine ensured I never went hungry. The veggie food here is great and guess what i am going back for more!
Jan Wildgoose, April 2006

With lots of love to a wonderful couple who are simply the best.
Barbara, Tony & Jono, April 2006

Thanks for a really fab week, we miss you already and look forward to doing it all over again next February.
Jan, Keith + Theo xxx April 2006

Thanks for a superb week, both of you. See you next year.
John, April 2006

Hi Laura & Mike
Thank you so much for having us to stay in your chalet last week and for being such great hosts. It really was a great week, and very relaxing. The chalet is gorgeous and the views are absolutely stunning. You have certainly chosen well. The food was great and so much of it! I am still getting used to not having 4 course breakfasts and supper and a cake waiting for me when I get home. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed too and luckily a great bunch of people last week. I hope you have a really successful rest of the year.

Best wishes, Mel & Rich, February 2006

Mike, Laura and Tomba!
Just to say a big thank you - had a fantastic time... gorgeous chalet, excellent food and great company! Came back to reality this week with a hard thump... Birmingham just doesn´t compare....we think someone´s stolen our hot tub!!
Would love to come back soon! Will keep in touch,
Aimee and Claire xx, February 2006

Absolutely fantastic, great organisation, wonderful food, great company, can´t wait to come back.

Winter Season 2004-2005...

A most friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with superb food, most professional - plus great sense of humour - feel lucky to have chosen this for our first chalet holiday.
Chris & Janet, 19th March 2005

Thanks for making my first ski-holiday an extra special one! I thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine and hospitality. Only one problem now is David will expect me to cook like you which is impossible! Take care and have a happy future together as you make a winning team.
Clair, 5th February 2005

Mike and Laura,
Many thanks for all the extra effort you put into making our week very special - nice to have a couple that go the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed everything! All the very best with your new venture in 2006 and perhaps we will meet again.

Steve aka ´Crash´, 5th February 2005

Many thanks for making this holiday FAB! Food and service better than The Ivy...Nothing too much trouble for you guys, thanks again.
Tony and Bernadine, 4th February 2005

Great food, great company, fab hosts, we won´t forget you.
Steve, 21st January 2005

We all had a splendid week. Mike and Laura are excellent hosts - particularly good cooks (beautiful puddings!) and the ski guiding was great fun and to be recommended. You are a winning combination for your future plans. With love from us all xxx
The Littleboys, Christmas 2004

Thanks to Mike and Laura, my stay could not have been better! They must be the best chalet hosts! I will miss them very much.
Beth, age 12, December 2004

Winter Season 2003-2004...(pre-Snowcrazy)

Thank you for helping me have one of the best Christmas ever. You have been great and very kind to me. Merry Christmas!
Love from Samantha Gilbert, age 9, April 2004

We all had a superb week mainly because you both worked very hard to ensure all our needs were catered for and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great deal of fun last week and I hope you felt part of our party, not just there to run around after us. Mike, you must work on that Indi/Welsh accent for your after dinner jokes!
Ray Richardson, 16 March 2004

A McGonagle poem for Mike and Laura, 27 March to 3 April 2004...

Dear Mike and Laura, a hell of an act.
Hang on a mo´ - I´ll give you the fact.
Mike uses yogurt to stop ´imploding´ cakes,
Laura´s a ski babe who´s got what it takes.

Mike drilled us well, to be at the table real quick.
He´d tell ancient jokes, so we´d give him some stick!
His French Onion Soup is the best ever tasted,
But his Rosemary Lamb on Phil was just wasted.

Laura started real quiet, now she´s one of the boys.
She prefers men on skis - they´ve got longer toys!
But ´tho she admits, boarders have better patter,
She´ll stick to her skier, ´cos size really matters.

So, fond memories of La Tania, with Marie and her feet.
Need a port in a storm? Susan don´t come cheap.
Jean´s back on her skis. big cheers all round
And in Mike and Laura, great hosts we have found!

So, for Mike and Laura, let´s ´big it up´ from all the Somerset crew,
We wish you ´Bonne Chance´ in all that you do!
