SnowCrazy want you to enjoy your days activities with peace of mind, knowing that your children are well looked after, enjoying their luxury ski chalet holiday
too. We often organise toboganning on bum boards outside the chalets and of course snowman building which is loads of fun (for us too!). We serve High Tea for children at an earlier time of 6pm. Along with our FREE airport transfers in our private minibuses, we allocate Baby Car Seats and Child Booster Seats FREE as required.
CrazyKidz...Your private in-chalet nanny service for peace of mind…
CrazyKidz is an exclusive service offered for our guests by SnowCrazy. Our in-chalet UK qualified English nannies come to the chalet and take care of our younger guests. Our CrazyKidz private nanny service is available from Monday to Friday each week to care for your children from age 6 months to 9 years in any of our resorts. Bookings are taken and paid for in advance (added to your final balance). This service can include collecting and delivering your child or children from and to ski school. The nanny will be happy to meet you at the bottom of the slopes or in a restaurant/bar off the slopes at your convenience.
Our nannies are highly qualified and experienced, whose pleasure is to ensure the children have a fun packed time whilst in resort in a safe and secure environment. Our service is worth every penny (always cheaper than local services) and we offer the exclusivity and convenience of a fully qualified nanny to look after your children in the comfort of your own chalet providing peace of mind and security of your loved ones. Your children are on holiday too and our CrazyKidz private nannies will ensure they are kept busy having loads of fun with appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors.

Our nannies will come to meet you and your children on your arrival to discuss the week ahead and your children’s routines, ski school bookings, any medication they are taking and any special dietary requirements your children may have. They will ensure the children gets lots of exciting things to do and will incorporate painting, drawing, games and reading into their daily activities when the weather is too cold to go outside. If the weather is good enough, the nannies will make sure your children get some fresh air and with your consent will take them for walks, sledging and snowman building of course.
If your children are in ski school, the nannies will take them to the meeting point ensuring they meet the right instructor for their lesson and collect them afterwards if required.

You can choose to book a nanny for Exclusive Use allowing you flexibility throughout the week. Shared Use is only available in La Rosiere or if you have not booked the chalet exclusively. If you book shared use and we have children booked from another of our chalets in the same resort, CrazyKidz childcare will be based in one chalet each day in rotation and at the agreed time, the nanny will ensure your children are ready to meet you at your chalet. We will provide a rota of chalets for the week for you, however the nannies will always be contactable on their mobile. This will only happen in ski chalets in La Rosiere
where we have three chalets all located within 200m of each other. In our other resorts if you are not booking the chalet exclusively the children willl be looked after in your chalet anyway.
NB: If your booking is dependant on our nanny being available, please contact us before booking to confirm availability.
Child Ratios...
The current childcare ratios are:
1 Adult to 3 children for 0-24 months
1 adult to 4 children for 2-3 years old
1 Adult to 8 children for 4-12 yr olds

This service fully complies with local and UK laws, our nannies are fully qualified and our insurance is provided by Arnold Fisher. Snowcrazy Childcare and Protection policies can be viewed in resort. Please ask for further details. Childcare Equipment...
We provide baby car seats, booster seats, high chairs, cots, sledges, toys and games. At additional cost we are able to provide evening babysitting and babycare products including baby milk and nappies. We do not provide pushchairs. Please ask for details. We provide drinks in the chalets and our nannies will give any bottle or other special feeds as required provided you supply the necessary items. We do not provide mid-morning or mid-afternoon snacks, however these will be available in your chalet Honesty bars. Please ensure you complete your requirements on our Booking Form.

Our CrazyKidz service is in high demand. Payment is in advance in £ sterling added to your final balance. Our usual Booking Conditions apply. Our Private Nannies are booked on a first come first serve basis and MUST be booked in advance. Please book early to avoid disappointment. If you book Shared Use and the nanny has not ben booked by anyone else, you will effectively have Private Use.

Babysitting...
The nannies are available for babysitting upon request for a maximum of two nights per week subject to availability. The price for this service for 1 child is £15 per hour with a minimum charge of £30. For 2 children the price is £25 per hour with a minimum charge of £50. For 3-6 children the price is £30 per hour with a minimum charge of £60.
Important Notes...
If your child becomes ill whilst on holiday, childcare can no longer be provided until at least 24 hours after their last symptoms. This is to reduce the risk of infection to other children. Please let us know as far ahead in advance as practicable if your child is ill or is taking any medication. We make every effort to ensure the chalets are safe for children however just like domestic homes we cannot guarantee they are completely child proof. We have a stair gate available, should you feel a stair gate is needed, please let us know.
